  1. I recently sent Ace a CCA request and they have returned the attached 'reconstituted copy'. When I started using the catalogue I was at a different address to the one they have written on this copy CCA form - does that matter? PPI claim and charges issue will be put on another thread. Ace have sent me statements going back to 11.01.2001. I am not too bothered re the 'service' charges but I have 3 x £20 default sums from 2006, which are after I had informed them of financial difficulties. If I could get these plus PPI [another thread] back then my account should be cleared. I understand there might be a limit of 6 years for these to be claimed back? any thoughts? PPI form sent to ACE for PPI amounting to £240+ - they have passed my 'information regarding the PPI to the relevant department who will contact' me separately. Just wanted to get this thread started as I am expecting issues to arise.
  2. Simple really, Ombudesman has made adjudication in my favout and part of that is for Scottish Power to cough up £100 and an apology within 28 days. they have failed to do so so I am now wondering about my next step, go back to Ombudsman for determination (equivalent of court order) or go after them myself. awaiting copy of credit file from 1 of the CRA's nothing on the others though but they were threatening to report a debt. It stems from them getting their customer files confused and sending bills to wrong house so for the DAY I was their customer I havent had a bill buy they wanted hundreds for fuel supplied to another address that i have no relationship with. Anyone had a similar problem with emphasis on the ignoring ombusdman bit?
  3. I had a problem with a bank switch which led to direct debits not being paid, i was wanting the bank to pay for the problem but they managed to prove otherwise and that matter has now been left behind. It has left me with a CCJ which i disputed on the above grounds and offered to pay the debt collector drydens a manageable amount each month. They still entered the CCJ againgst me and said by email that they would accept the offer but want to get a charging order. I applied to pay in installments, which has been then rejected by the debt collection agency. Today i received a letter from the court stating such and that there will be a determination hearing soon. Firstly i presume this is for the court to state how much i should pay each month. Secondly the major problem is that i am currently off work because of very bad anxeity attacks which leave me in hospital, i fear if i go to this hearing it will leave me with one of these. I had seen somewhere advice that if you cannot attend i should send a letter outlining everything i would have said? Is this a reasonable way? Thanks in advance
  4. my wife has received a (judgement for claimant -after determination) from northampton county court, the debt is £3640.50 and they asking for payment in full or installments of £1094.05 monthly, my wife only earns around £1500 per month and i earn around £1800 per month after all outgoings we are left with around £150, so the amount asked for would put us in serious financial difficulties ,i.e not paying any motgage + other bill for 3 months, is there anyone out there who can give some good advice quickly, thanks in advance
