  1. I noticed on my credit history a company called Arrow globals must have bought a statued bared debt from twelve years ago. Nothing had been paid for about ten years no acknowledgement at all etc etc. They are defaulting me on a monthly basis! I want to challenge this but am concerned about any acknowledgement etc and starting the clock again. As i understand it unless debt is acknowledged in writing or payment made i should be ok but will this lead to harassment for payment? If i send a statue barred notice this definitely wont be an acknowledgement will it? They are also using the day they bought the debt as date of default, about 8 years after the actual date How should I Best deal with this?
  2. Hello everyone, I would be very grateful for a answer to my query. I had a current account with RBS in which there was no overdraft or credit facilities. There where some bounced direct debits for which they applied charges etc and bought the balance to over £400. For the above they have placed a default on my credit file. Can please someone advice me if they are allowed to do this, are the charges legal or can I fight this to get it removed.
  3. I have a defualt on my credit file dated 13.09.2008. However the account start date is 14.08.2008. I had an agreement to pay this amount off, and did so in £50.00 payments. I have sent all this to them and as a final resort i complained to the FOS. now they have said that they have had all the notes and this was an extension fee and NOT a repayment fee. They have said that if i pay £100.00 the other party will mark it as satisfied, however i need the default removed, and as i said i believed it was paid. Can anyone help the FOS have said if i accept the offer its full and final and can not persue the matter. she said they will bring this up with them if i want but they may ammend the information to be worse off. I am so fed up. i went though a real hard time and payday loan was my only option, but i have worked hard and cleared all my debts. and this is so annoying. can anyone help: do they not have to register a default correctly do they not have to give notice for it to be valid. if i bring this up can they change the default date and extend the dates. your help and advise would be greatly appreciated. Much love
