  1. So I had a phone call just now... From a number 01639 617412 Claiming to be "We Take Them On" - They asked me had i ever taken a PDL? I played along and said "Yes"... "Well have you ever had to roll them over?" He asks... I stopped him right there... "Dude, you do know you are talking to someone who has written a full guide on reclaiming PDLs for free right?" He stopped dead... I offered to send him a link to CAGs free guide... He said "No Im Okay thank you..." The call then ended... In which I laughed... He wast happy when I told him I help do it for free...
  2. just looking for some advice and to make sure im doing things properly. i bought a gearbox off ebay which was sold as fully working and tested. upon delivery i paid the mini specialist to fit it for me and when they did they found out the box had a syncro fault. i went back to the company asking for A) replacement and to pay for the replacement to be fitted B ) repair the box and pay for it to be removed and fitted. I got quotes for both options and told the company the prices. when i spoke to the company again i was told that it wasn't tested and in face came from a rear end crash damaged car so i was also miss sold this box. they offered me to return it for a refund (which would leave me out of pocket buy around 1k for fitting and removal ) and leave me without a car. Since then i haven't heard anything back i sent a letter of the same conditions (first class signed for) and gave them 2 days to respond a week ago now. now i have opened a claim online for the matter tonight. so expect to see more regarding this as i will/may need some help along the way. thanks
