  2. Hi Just looking for some advice. I have a debt with Very. It's balance is £8500 although not sure why I'm assuming intereest and charges. The last few months I've been getting letters from ARC Europe asking me to contact them which I havent. Today I get another letter saying their client is willing to offer a very reduced settlement if I pay within 35 days. Is this normal. Why would they accept a reduced offer. Thanks
  3. Hi Everyone Earlier this week I received a letter for ARCeurope, informing me that they where trying to contact me on behalf of their client on a personnel matter. No more detail than that. Then later in the week I received a letter from Arrow Global informing me that ARCeurope where now handling my account. Apparently this relates to a MBNA credit card back in 2008. I have no paper work regarding this matter from either MBNA or Arrow Finance until this week. Since I have no paper work regarding this should I request a copy of the original credit agreement first? thanks for any thoughts.
  4. Hi, Just wondered if anyone had any dealings with ARCEurope Limited. I have been getting letters from them in respect of a Nationwide Flex Account, which I used in 2009 - 2010 the account had an overdraft on it, which whilst I was in the overdraft limit NW reduced by £100 then started charging me for being over the overdraft at £20 a time. I have had this passed from 4 different agencies and now with ARCEurope. I can't afford to pay the amount of £247 and I have received a letter today stating a CCJ has been prepared against me and CAN be issues in Northampton. If the matter is passed to our Solicitors for issue, our client will claim the following....... more blurp, a nd then at the end it says, if you ignore this letter we may pass this matter to our solicitors to issue the claim without further notice. I can probably offer to pay £5 - £10 a month, but no more than that Any thoughts or suggestions.
  5. Hi, I was a member with DW sports on a month to month contract, started in the summer of last year. I cancelled my membership with them I believe just after new years 2012 by phone, then a month later cancelled the direct debit. Last week I received a letter stating I owe 53 pounds including a 15 pound penalty fee. Today I have received a letter from them about passing it onto their solicitors. How do I take action to resolve this?
