  1. Hi, I rented a car from Enterprise Rent-a-car. When I returned it there was a small scratch, just a little bigger than their wear and tear vs damage assessment template allows for: https://ibin.co/3WJPCUlUuaeK.jpg They want to charge me the full 850 euros excess for this. It looks like the sort of thing that could be fixed for around 50 to 100 euros, with a localized touch up. Clearly I am being ripped off. It is entirely possible the scratch was already there. It was a long day and I did not have any lunch by the time I got off the ferry and waited for the French to finish their lunch and re-open their rental office. I may easily have missed it. I did ask them to send me the last 5 return slips so I can check the same scratch has not already been billed for... but they did not respond at all to my polite email to the accidents email address they gave me. What can I do?
  2. As many as 850,000 Vauxhall Corsas could have a wiring fault that can cause them to catch fire, a newspaper investigation claims. The fault is similar to the one that forced the motor giant to recall hundreds of thousands of Zafiras. Experts told The Sun newspaper that Corsa D and E models built since 2005 are potentially dangerous and can catch fire, with dozens of cases of owners reporting flames coming through the cars’ dashboards. Vauxhall has denied any knowledge of Corsa fires caused by the heating system. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/2344371/million-vauxhall-corsa-cars-fire-risk-uk/
  3. Vodaphone sent me the wrong phone in January 2016 as an upgrade, they sent out the wrong phone so I sent it back. Unfortunately the phone got stolen in transit and this was proved with the weight recorded on the receipt that I sent to vodaphone. Everything was supposedly ok , until I noticed my bill were almost double than normal every month after this, I phoned vodaphone on May 2016 to find out why. The reason was that this upgrade they had sent had actually opened up a new account on the same name and address ect and were billing me double. They said this would be sorted and I would get a refund. After phoning them every month after this they still continued to take the 39 pounds from my account every month and just last month they have now closed my account and billed me 530 pounds for an early cancellation fee!
