  1. I do have info that would nail Bond that I didnt pick up on till after hearing (should not have gone on the booze the night before!) PM me if you are still going to court it is gold dust
  2. The DJ made his decision on the basis of the UTCCR in such as he had to decide whether £10 was a fair and representative figure, Bond had given a defence that it costs VM £10.19 per delinquent debtor and despite my arguments via the UTCCR's the fact that telephone calls listed in this £10.19 were in fact being made via accenture the outsourcing company in Bangalore costing virtually nil, despite the fact his costs were based on letters that their own SAR defence shown had never been sent out etc, he still found that £10 was a fair fee. I think it will be down to individual DJ's how they see this and I think I was just unlucky although the DJ was a particularly nice guy I just could not convince him. PS Bond is extremely poor at what he does so don't be afraid of him.
  3. Be wary I lost in court today and had to pay £150 expenses
  4. Lost in court today and had to pay £150 for Bonds travel expenses, he tried for £200 but DJ limited it to £150 f*****g liberty
  5. Sammy you need to be more clear with the claim details, I would not worry about VM or EP seeing your post as its all standardised defences but if your claim relates to items that cannot be claimed against we can help you on this site.Always remember VM legal team are probably the most arrogant of all companies as they hope you will just go away and don't respond to any requests from you or even acknowledge you. PS I'm in court with them on Friday and their documents are hillarious and actually help me with their notes! cheers
  6. Did you get a chance to look at defence? thanks
  7. Hi mo, did they turn up with no docs or just no show?
  8. Martin I have e-mailed the defence to you cheers
  9. This still means no court proceedings can be initiated as either a Scottish address or a PO Box can't be used, i'm wondering whether its just Halifax Card Services, anyone any idea? thanks
  10. Hi Martin, Have received their court bundle if you would like to see it, includes witness statement from Bond saying the costs are actually £10.19 but no breakdown how this calculated but says staff costs etc, I thought that would be part of the £104 per month I pay them!!!!
  11. My son has five accounts with them and is arrears on them all,he got a letter after making a complaint saying he would not get charges back on any account negating and requirement to send letters requesting charges back, so every time a £12/24/26 gets applied he goes staight to court charging them a further £25 court fee on every charge and 8% court fees, its a good idea as they cant win in court and wont turn up or settle before hearings so the balance will eventually be paid off with the court fees, hes moved to switzerland and will return for any hearing dates so should be hillarious when after the first couple of cases the judges start awarding wasted costs orders against littlewoods.
  12. My son has accounts with several of the home shopping groups catalogues, he is in arrears with them as he was unemployed when he applied for each one (very responsible lenders!) he has moved to Switzerland and they have been told this but i am not prepared to give a forwarding address, he has court claims with them over thier charges which he will come home for, should be very interesting in a wasted costs order! but they continue to phone me upto 6 times a day. Any advice appreciated.
  13. Hi Martin, Is it the regular court bundle to send and another charges list and a standard disclosure to court and virgin? ta
  14. What address did you for aqua card as I am starting court proceedings with them but cant't as its a Scottish address
  15. Yes I agree people on here seem to be very confused about this, in my experience they pay it no attention whatsoever
  16. I've no idea what all the phone line notes are about, this thread is merely about the impossible procedure that sky creates for people under the 30 day cooling off period to cancel their contract.
  17. Yes can you resend as seem to have deleted it thanks
  18. Did you get a awasted costs order MO? I'm in court 3rd Sept and expecting the same response
  19. I had sky installed on monday at 9.15 and had cancelled by 11:30!!! woman had got order completely wrong and only put tv on instead of bundle, charged me £28 and then when I complained wanted another £40 to put the phone and intenet installation in the next 2-3 weeks! Have tried cancelling witihin their 30 day cooling off period (2 hours!!!!) with emails to their "dedicated" cancellation team on mon/tues/thurs but no response. Telephoned today (sat) the cancellation team to try and sort again but told they can't cancel accounts not yet passed the 30 day period and need to e-mail . Anyone got a number that would get me through to anyone who can do this - she went on about being a "massive company" much to her displeasure I continually used this as a guide to my complaint being dealt with.
  20. Quick update, just been into bank to see what had happened spoke to the branch manager and hes investigating and will respond within 7 days. Will keep informed
  21. I gave it in at my branch for the manager butt hey have completely ignored it. I have opened a halifax account and will start to forward my money there
  22. The bank has today taken £100 charges from the account leaving me £350 o/d obviously completely ignoring the letter, I think people on the site may have got this wrong as the banks don't seem to have to comply with this letter.
