  1. Thanks sallyas good letter ill use it.
  2. Good advice thanks. However if i send a new lba, does this signify a new claim? the reason i ask is that part of my claim was for 2001 and this would be oiutside the 6 year limit. But if i continued my original claim they should still be included, particularly as i have, in effect, been waiting for over a year for a response from them. my head is beginning to hurt!
  3. hi all I started my claim in 2007 and got up to lba letter being sent. i recieved no response and due to illness i have not pursued it until now. However as it has taken so long,(over a year now) if i resubmit the lba would that constitute a new claim? The reason i ask is that part of my claim involves charges from 2001 and if this is a new claim part of it will be over the 6 year period. I dont want to lose these charges so is there anything i can do?

  5. I will thanks. But what is the situation with applying interest? i know that contractual interest was the watchword over a year ago, but if that will become too protracted then the statutary 8% is the evenue ill go down. However if i send a new lba with a different spreadsheet do i have to make any reference to my previous claim?
  6. Thanks Wendy B Ill do just that. Do you think i need to make any reference to the previous claim, possibly to do with their lack of response? Also if i send a new lba with a different spreadsheet would this complicate matters?
  7. Also what is the situation with interest? do most go along with statrutary now?
  8. Hi seaside lady no i didnt, does that mean anything?
  9. Hi all I had to postpone this claim due to personal circumstances and bad health. However im back but would be gratefull for any advice as this claim is now over 18 months old. Does this make any difference? Also having read my previous posts, is contractual interest the way to go or just the statutary? What would be my next move? Sorry for all the questions but ive lost touch since 2007.
  10. hi all I started my claim in 2007 but due to personal circumstances had to postpone the claim very near to the finish line. I got up to response to settlement offer (declined of course). I have lost touch a bit with the court cases etc and would be gratefull for some advice as to how to reactivate the claim. Its feels good to be back!
  11. Thanks seaside lady, Your one of the few names i recognise from earlier this year, nice to see your still chipping away at them! Ive been reading up on the threads you gave me and yes i have missed a lot Now that some courts have issued stays on these claims, do you think it makes sense to take the claim to another court that has not applied stays? Or is this not possible? Is there anything else which has fundamentally changed since `my exit`?
  12. Hi All Sorry ive been awol due to reoccurence of illness.A lot better now.(hopefully) Im now trying to get back on top of my claim. But i was wondering if anything has changed since then. The story so far is that my claim has got to the stage of them offering me a SMALL settlement figure, which i had refused and gave them 7 days to reconsider (which they didnt!) no suprise there. The problam is that this was 5 months ago. Should i give them another deadline or go straight to court?? Also i know things can change in 5 months, so what interest is now most commonly being claimed for ?
  13. Also Taff any help with filling in the n1 form and the bundles would be appreciated
  14. It was the martin lewis prog, apparently, and he was supposed to have said that the £12 limit set by the oft had become the accepted level of reasonable charges. So everything above £12 we can claim. Seems strange though, as he had previously been stating ALL charges were open to claim But this was third hand info, could be wrong!
