  1. This happened to me. Maxrecovery bought what I think was a Barclays debt of mine. The debt was declared to the courts, and the OR I was duly adjudged bankrupt on 22 Feb 2006, and on that very day, Maxrecovery inserted a default onto my credit file. I didn't think they could do this, but any way, they have. So in a few days time, 22 february 2012, the 6 year anniversary will be here, and I guess thay have to remove their "default" note. Should i write to them to ensure thay remove the default note, or will it happen automatically? Tex.
  2. Hello, and thanks to all who had time to reply. The car has been there from beginning of December. I know during the summer, when i leave uk for long periods, she never fails to start One time it was almost 9 months, and no problem. The only thing that I think about this time, is the very cold weather, and the layers of snow and ice that have covered her for so long. Do you suggest I ask the airport car park if they have jump start abbility? Or shall I first see if she starts. I don't really want to waste any time when I arrive back in UK. The car park charges are prepaid on line. They were around £221 so for 4,5 months, I think thats not too bad. Tex.
  3. Hello all, I am just looking for some general information. I have my car insured through NFU Mutual Direct. As part of the policy, there is "Roadside Assist (Mutual Assist) which is included in my policy. This I read is provided by RAC. I am sure my car is not going to start, when I get back to Birmingham airport later in April, it has been there since beginning of December, all through the cold and snow, in the outdoor, open carpark. Has any one any thoughts on when I call the RAC to give me a jump start, if I will be covered. I am not technically "on the road side" Tex,
