hooray nationwide finally refunded my money they have now had the cheek to send a letter giving 30 days notice of closing my acccount stating not adhered to terms and conditions what a pity i cant close them down they were the ones in breech not me but hey who cares certaintly not the nationwide thanks to everyone for the help and guidance and giving me the courage to take on the banks;)

flex account showing 700.00 account balance on opening screen yet when statement comes up only shows 3.00 what are nationwide doing with the money why cant i access it

could i get the charges back from my mortgage provider as this was no fault of mine

got a similar timescale nationwide acknowleged on 21st dec 06 they have 28 days from then good luck:)

thanks for the advice what is annoying me the most is that the account with nationwide is a basic account they quite happily took their charges out of the account causing it to go overdrawn and i dont have an authorised overdraft they didnt even notify me that charges were going to be taken and if that wasnt enough on the day they took the charges a direct debit for my mortgage was due out which they wouldnt pay caused me to get into extra charges from nationwide aswell as my mortgage provider and caused arrears with the mortgage not happy at all:mad:

i have submitted claim via moneyclaimonline and the nationwide have acknowledged which means they have 28 days to make their mind up what is the chance of having to go into court really worried

hi there never posted before have just submitted a claim against nationwide via moneyclaimonline they have now received the claim and have done an acknowledgement how long did it take for you to be refunded. Got refunded from the halifax without the need for court yet the nationwide have been threatning to close the account and not very polite at all or even offered any sort of refund how did you get on:confused:
