Hi, I have received a letter from tsc credit management stating that i owe £594.46 to virgin media??? I have never had an account with virgin media. I previously had broadband with NTL so i think it might be something to do with that account, problem i've got with it is i closed that account and paid what i owed. Can someone please advise me on what the best action is to take Thanks

Hi, I've just received my equifax credit report, in it there is an account with orange for a mobile phone that i got through dial a phone, i was put on the wrong tariff and received a high bill when i investigated it i cancelled the contract due to being mis sold to which orange agreed to do, this was back in 2001, orange put an arrangement to pay on my file and then they have said that it was settled in 2005, i have never had any contact or made any payments since 2001?? where do i stand in trying to get this removed and how do i go about it??

Hi, I hope someone can give me some advice, have the exact same name as my dad, on receiving my credit file from equifax i noticed that there is 2 ccj's registered under my name!! these actually belong to my dad, problem is they don't have a date of birth attached to them so to creditors they look like mine, i've worked hard to improve my credit file and now im debt free and would have a good credit file, i contacted equifax and i was fobbed off with fill in an on line dispute, i have done this several times to try and have my mother removed as a financial associate and everytime they tell me that due to system constraints they can't remove her, is there anyone i can complain to or is there another way i can resolve this problem. Can i have my dad removed from my credit file completely?? any help or advice would be great

Ive got a couple of old agreements with welcome that are settled but im sure i was charged for late payments and call outs!! can i get these back???

Hi i'm a newbee and i need some help, i've been reading up on removing files from my credit file and so far what i've read i believe that you can remove old agreements from your file before the six years....is this true??? also i have a default on my file which i would love to have removed... problem is the account is'nt settled....its with hsbc bank... i was paying it back to a debt collection agency but they stopped taking the monthly payments from my account... the default is still showing as being open and i only have one year left before it comes off my credit file.... i rang experian and the advisor told me not to bother contacting hsbc about this as i only had a year before it gets removed and to sit tight because if i contact them it could be longer before the default is removed, is there a way i could get it removed or do you think i should sit tight and wait??? also do you think i should write and ask for a copy of the original agreement because i believe if they cant supply it then they cant enforce the debt?? is that true??
