  2. Shouldn't be long now though deller i'll keep my fingers crossed there deadline was the 30th wasn't it? hopefully the posty will bring you an early xmas prezzie this week!
  3. Hi qucik question i've received my statements and i have a few charges of £20 for a temporary overdraft fee i'm assuming i can not claim these back as the bank were providing a service that i agreed to???
  4. Hi Hunkdory just checking in, got all my statements also with my cheque returned! mines about £1500 and every bit of that will help! So lets go get them! Natwest settled my claim today in full after just the LBA only £337 but it came at the right time and it's given that bit of confidence to go for the HSBC one dont think i'm going to be as lucky with them though!
  5. I know it came just at the right time i cant beleive it HSBC are next!
  6. Thanks michael looked at the thread, they settled after the LBA and the money is in my account i have the letter confirming so nothing else needs to be done does it? Apart from sit back and pay a few bills!!!

  9. Had a reply to my prelim basic charges are fair bla bla bla. LBA sent today! Anyone know of any banks that operate basic bank accounts had to go to NatWest for theres (defaulted on a lot of debt and have just received a CCJ) so worried about finding a parachute account. I know Halifax do one but you have to have £100 to open it!
  10. Thanks westy going i am going to open another account and will keep an eye on your threads.
  11. Can anyone tell me what the chances are of natwest making me pay my overdraft back during this dispute worried about them getting nasty and taking it off me on a payday!!!
  12. well i've found out that a default isn't a bar to reclaiming charges and as you say it was there fault anyway i've sent off for my SAR so we'll be moving along at about the same pace so i'll check in with you from time to time
  13. Thanks Jim i'll bear that in mind anything to get my debt down, every little helps!
