  1. Having had a clean driving license for 7 years, at the end of last year i was given 3 points on my license for travelling 50 miles an hour in a 40 zone. Due to changing addresses i never received the fixed penalty but the case went to court. I pleaded guilty in advance and didn't attend the court hearing. This morning i have received a letter from the DVLA advising that my license has been revoked as i haven't sent it off to be endorsed with these 3 points. The letter states that i haven't responded to the original letter.... however i have never recieved this original letter and this is the first letter i have received. Does anyone have any experience of this and of appealing the decision? The post in my area is notoriously bad and there have been numerous incidents of bills going missing.
  2. Hi how long did it take between the money going into your account and receiving a letter advising of this? ltsb have snuck some money into my account 1 week ago but still no letter of confirmation!
  3. still waiting on the court to get back to me on this, have filled in and returned the aq but no news as of yet. Any one got any idea how long it takes for the court to reply?
  4. Thanks Barty! Yeah it was a 9 point defence that from reading through a few other poosts appears to be the standard for Lloyds. Ive just completed the AQ using the above links for guidance but relying mainly on the new strategy for filling in AQs that i found earlier and attached a draft order for directions. Fingers crossed.
  5. Hi all I have recently registered my claim against lloyds TSB at my local court, and Lloyds TSB have filed a defence claiming that the charges are for services rendered and not penalty charges. Is this usual and does anyone have similar experiences? I have also been sent an allocation questionnaire that i need to fill in and return to the court within 2 weeks. Are Lloyds likely to settle before this goes to court once i have returned this to the court? And finally (sorry about all the questions!) do i need to return statements etc as proof to the court at any stage? Thanks in advance for all your help!
