  1. Good evening "asmilecostsnothing", hope all's well. The fact that PDE are ignoring me is annoying but not the major issue, the fact that FOS have confirmed they're awaiting papers that they requested direct from PDE from 4 weeks ago does rile me up somewhat!! I'm used to being ignored by PDE, i did think though PDE would play FOS with a straight bat!! Obviously not!! Never mind, onwards and upwards!!! Thanks for the offer of using the thread as proof that PDE can set up repayment plans if they feel like it. I'm just miffed they agreed with me to set one up verbally, then decided to backtrack on the deal. I like the idea of paying direct, I know I have a debt to pay, I just want to be treated fairly whilst I pay it off!!
  2. Ohmygod-theyareallzombies. Firstly, congtrats on having the best name on the site! Great name! Hope you manage to get sorted, currently I have FOS and OFT investigating, still no joy from "customer services" at Payday Express and/or express Finance Good luck with the big guns....... Asmilecostsnothing - pleased you're getting sorted. Interested in hearing how you got on with the forced payment? This sounds far better than the random "account raping" that PDEXP are involved with! Did you follow up your forced payment with correspondence to them confirming what action you'd taken?
  3. Moneyhole, Some great advice from Biggeorge and silly girl. Remember which are your priority bills, and which can wait (although don't ignore, let them know what's happening). Any addition is an illness. Don't be bullied, persuaded, or told otherwise. Check the below website, online support 8am until midnight. Get in touch. https://secure.gamcare.org.uk/netline/
  4. Asmilecostsnothing, well played! Pleased you managed to get sorted with them. Have you they confirmed to you in writing their agreement to the repayment plan?
  5. As with Nao, similar problems with Minicredit, try claims (at) minicredit.co.uk. They copied me in on a complaint I made to FOS which confirms it's validity, although I'm unsure whether they will respond to incoming mail. Good luck
  6. Keep us posted how you get on with the CFA, I've raised a complaint to the CFA who have confirmed as they have no mandate to investigate complaints, they won't do so? So, i'd be interested to see if you get a different response!! Good luck!
  7. I'd suggest also a complaint to FOS. I've found them fairly slow to deal due to the volume of complaints they're currently dealing with but fair in their findings. There is a £500.00 investigation fee which will be paid by Lending Stream should you do so. Of interest, have you had any correspondence from their inhouse DCA Resolution Recoveries?
  8. Hi, Anyone had any joy (or, preferably a response) from the CFA? I submitted a complaint athrough on line form on the 2nd September 2011, nothing heard so I e-mailed "info@cfa-uk.co.uk" on 10th September 2011. Still, nothing? I note their website suggests queries are answered asap, so unsure if their busy or just slow in responding?
  9. Ca't be sure by think they're the inhouse collection agency for Lending Stream, (very similar headed paper), i've had a respone from customerservices at resolutionrecoveries.com
  10. Hi Darren, Try not to get too wound up, this company are well, poor at best at responding by e-mails. I set up an arrangement over the phone, all agreed, no issues. 2 weeks later, a snotty standard letters demanding arrears. Yep, right, like that's going to happen. The only thing I can suggest is keep trying the e-mail route, keeping copies and paying in cash what you can afford, and not what they demand. I'd also suggest cancelling any bank cards you may have set up. As for phone numbers, I used to receive them from 0800 012 6347, I no longer answer them, just record the time and date and log as a complaint to OFT (one shortly going to FOS, they're hassling me for £130, let's see how they like the £500 will charge). E-mail addresses i've used are paul st ledger at paydayexpress.co.uk, (supposedly he runs the collections team, not sure as he certainly doesn't respond, customer support at paydayepress.co.uk, (no response so far) and dr at paydayexpress.co.uk. (no response either). Good luck, keep logging the e-mails you send.
  11. Is there any point in lodging a further complaint to Financial Ombudsman Service in addition to OFT & Trading Standards? I know FOS are slow, backlogs up to the eyeballs, but a £500.00 investigation fee they levy on Minicredit might (and by reading this, only might) make them sit up and notice?
  12. Hi all, managed to get myself into a pickle with PDL;s. Just about sorted apart from 2 companies who, whether by coincidence or not, have decided not to play ball and are sending usual threats, refusing to responding to e-mails etc. Maybe it's a coincidence, but I've just notice the similarity of addresses? Are they the same company? Or is 77 Gracechurch Street some form of corporate holding address? Any advice gratefully received. PaydayUK is a trading name of MEM Consumer Finance LTD, 6th Floor, 77 Gracechurch Street, London EC3V 0AS. Registration Number: 04786727 Consumer Credit Licence: 539935 Payday Express. Consumer Credit Licence Number 478122. Registered in England as Express Finance (Bromley) Ltd. Registered Number: 3841946. Registered Address: 6th Floor, 77 Gracechurch Street, London, EC3V 0AS Thanks all, keep up the good work and don't let the buggers get you down!!!
