  1. Hi rascal, i just came across your thread. I am a Lloyds customer and having sent my LBA to them on the 17th May, i received a letter from them Saturday, also dating 17th May, offering me more than my claim as full and final settlement of my claim. That effectively means they paid out onthe prelim letter!! Hope that helps ease your nerves?? The money went in after 3 working days too...................
  2. Blimey lady!! They really are giving you the run-around.............. they sooooooo suck.............big time!!!! I hope you get the money soon chick xXx
  3. Wow!! your son sounds fantastic!! Did better than me in his GCSE's too!! All the best to him and to you guys, keep smiling!! Gingatossa over and out! xXx
  4. Hi Pondfish! Cheers for your message. No, don't panic, don't think you prompted anybody at all!! 5% is a small fee to donate considering i wouldn't have taken the challenge without the help of this site!! I can understand you worrying about your son, aswell as my daughter (who is life-limited and currently 11years old) i have a 12 1/2 year old son who is gifted/talented with moderate ADHD (medicated for school) and mild dyspraxia, and an 8 year old son of which the SENco's are 99% sure he has ASD. I believe it's more Asperger's personally as he too is very bright, some 3 1/2 years ahead of his chronological age in some subjects, he is also very eccentric and his social skills are kinda lagging somewhat! He too has mild dyspraxia. Both boys have immature fine motor skills................. their handwriting is worse than a doctor's, lol!! Have to say though, life would be dull if they didn't have their little quirks, ha ha ha!! We all thrive on the fact we are all on different levels of the curve of natural variation. . . . . . . . even our 2 cats are very odd. I love my life, and will love it even more now i have my charges back, xXx I'm sure your son will be fine!! I like individuality!!! Yes, i have more claims going on, my sister's, my ex-hubby's and my sister-in-law, but sadly, none for me though!! Mind, you, that's probably a good thing, lol! Enjoy your day Pondfish, i'm out to enjoy some of the lovely sunshine!! xXx
  5. Hang in there DBR, it'll go in, i'm sure!! After reading so much stuff around this site, i think i may well have been one of the very few that has been awarded my money back so quickly, maybe even the quickest? (they sent the letter the same day i sent prelim, therefore, effectively, they agreed to pay out on the prelim letter) and i had my money go in yesterday. I had no T & C's either............. they said 10 working days, it went in after 3!! Funny thing, it went in as 'GOODWILL REFUND'....bless 'em!! :o Pondfish, i shall be donating 5% of my money to the site, would love to donate more but as a mum of three, with a profoundly disabled child with multi-complex needs, i'm not able to work so any money is very precious!! I couldn't have done it without the guidance of this site though!! I am claiming for my sister, i'm at the LBA sent off stage for Alliance & Leicester, and will be starting for my ex-hubby today, against Barclays. Have told them they must donate to the site when they get reimbursed!! Pinkies crossed they cough up as quickly as Lloyds did for me!!! xXx
  6. Still no dosh in my account either...............*drums fingers waiting impatiently*....... they have until next Wednesday to cough up............... could really do with it right now, if we owed them, they'd soon come hammering for it!!!!! OK, I JUST CHECKED MY ACCOUNT............IT'S ONLY BLOODY GONE IN TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOOP WHOOP!!!! MY ACCOUNT HAS NEVER LOOKED SO DAMN HEALTHY!!! YEEEE-HAAAAAAA!!!
  7. Hi DBR, just thought i'd tell you that i won my claim Saturday!! I only sent the LBA off Thursday and the letter offering me £724 was dated Thursday and i got it Saturday!! My claim was for £663, so i'm happy!!!! xXx :D
  8. Hi jansus, finger crossed they pay you before you need to start doing that! I shall have some reading to do aswell i guess. My sister is going away for the week and has instructed me to check her post for any correspondence from A & L................ muggins here will do it then huh? lol If she gets to the court stage, she's gonna need to read up! Hope your claim goes well, good luck xXx
  9. Thanks curlychic!! Just waiting for it to go into my account!! Have read the letter over and over again as i can't believe it!! xXx
  10. Well chain chic, guess what???? I had a letter from Lloyds this morning, offering me £724.................. my claim was £663 so i'm happy with that!! It was dated 17th May, the same day i sent my LBA............ Pinkies crossed my sister gets the same news soon!!!!
  11. Thanks captable, i was too!! I made sure i put "please note, i am not claiming any of the interest from these charges" on my letters, whether that made a difference or not, i don't know. but, i am so chuffed and stunned at the same time!! How's your claim going? xXx
  12. Thanks Barty...... i sooooooooooooooo can't believe they've agreed to pay up so quickly!!! Stunned, but oh so chuffed......kinda made my weekend!!! he he he *laughing like a little kid*
  13. I have read and re-read the offer and there are no T & C's attached to it and according to them, the money will be in my account within the next 10 working days.............. funny thing is, the letter was dated 17th May..... i posted my LBA on the same day...... ha ha ha!! Am gonna be helping ex-hubby start a claim against Barclays now.............. *Gingatossa runs around like an Angel on acid as she's soooooo high with happiness* when the money is in my account, a donation will be made!!! Thanks for all your help!! :)
