  1. Thanks very much, i did get a letter from them saying that they would be "closing my account." I found that quite amusing seeing as my account has been closed with them for nearly two years now! ha ha. Still i'm very happy with the result and wish everyone else the same success. Keep fighting
  2. Well i'm pretty chuffed, got a cheque through this morning for £495. (£81 for charges, £64 for interest and £50 for my court charges). Just need to cancel my court claim now. Anyone now how i do this?
  3. started off by sending my prelim letter to: Customer Relations Customer Central Support First Floor The Forthstone 56 South Gyle Crescent Edinburgh EH12 9LE Like i said, thats as far as i got. Didn't claim the interest that would have been included on any possible court claim.
  4. Ironically, when i got home from work just now there was a letter on my mat from RBS, offerring me a full refund of all my charges (£1230). I'd only sent a prelim letter off. Blimey. i'm extremely chuffed.
  5. Haven't heard anything from RBS since hey acknowledged my Prelim letter, should i just carry on to the next stage - LBA?
  6. Cheers mate, i'll have a read with interest.
  7. Cheers for the advice. they have said that they "intend to defend" I'm going to count down the days now then.
  8. Notice of Acknowledgement receivd today, Charles Bacon is dealing with my request and obviously has stated that they intend to defend. I'm going to send a copy of my charges to him to be included on my claim. What is the next process?
  9. From reading other threads created by people, I have sent a letter to the court with a copy of my charges and asked for it to be included with my case. I sent this when i got my Notice of Issue. When i receive my Notice of Acknowledgement from them i will then send a letter to Nationwide with a copy of my charges and again ask for it to be included with my case. Just a waiting game now EDIT: Oh and i did include the extra 8% interest, BUT only when i got to the court stage.
  10. Received an acknowledgement letter this morning from RBS, saying they will be in touch over my claim. Is this the standard procedure?
  11. Notice of Issue received this morning from MCOL. Just waiting from the acknowledgement from Nationwide then i'll send them a copy of my charges.
  12. Ok i've submitted a claim through MCOL and waiting for my 'claim pack' to come through the post. In the meantime i take it i need to prepare a letter and a copy of my charges ready to submit to Nationwide? Is this the case? Still getting a little confused over this
  13. Many thanks for the replies guys. Just gives me some piece of mind as i was unsure of the MCOL process after i submit a claim. I will dig through a few other threads first and find out what exactly the process is
  14. Can anyone provide advice on this as i'm eager to get the claim process started. Thanks
  15. Can anyone explain to me briefly what the process is for the MCOL? What i'm getting confused about is the process. after i've filled in the details fo the claim, does the MCOL site send the letter on my behalf to Nationwide in which case how do i send my spreadsheet or do i print it off and send my spreadsheet myself. If it is me that sends it, i take it i'll be sending it to the address below Charles Bacon Solicitor Legal Compliance (Corporate Affairs) Nationwide Building Society Nationwide House Pipers Way Swindon SN38 1FN Any help is appreciated Thank you
