  2. hi again, ive been ill for a while so ive only just got back on my feet again, anyway i was looking for anyone who has started any action with the bradford+bingley yet and if so how,s it going,im about to send the first letters off this week so i will see what they say,its good to see that barclays seem to be backing down by offering half back but its just not good enough is it!i mean they dont settle for half of the charges when they dip into our accounts do they, ive had my account with b+b since i was 16!is there a time limit on back charges?anyway i will update you when i hear from them in case anyone else is fighting the b+b(surley im not the only one!),by the way dave your a star mate!you should be given an obe!
  3. Cheers Bankfodder, dont get me wrong ,the branch mgr isent ezactly a "drinking buddy" of mine, like you say i will see whet he is really like when i approach him and inform him of my intentions,i keep reading about the "dpa" charge,i know what it means but at what stage do i do this letter,is it when the b+b get back to me after my intial approach?i am more than prepared to take this all the way because up until about 6 years ago b+b dident charge for direct debits that didnt get paid and the most annoying thing is that 2 months ago they had the cheek to hit me for a £25 charge for an unpaid £1.99 dd,the only reason my account was so low was because i spend a lot of time working away and had worked for an agency abroad who hadent paid me on time and i unknowingly withdrew my very last £100 out of the machine without checking my balance!,thanks for the advice, Brad
