  1. It was parked in a pay and display area in Cardiff City Center, Cardiff Council issued.
  2. I have recently received a "NOTICE TO PAY FIXED EXCESS CHARGE" in Cardiff. It does not have a date of issue on, it does have a date and time the vehicle was seen. Does this mean that I can appeal against it, or should I just pay? Thanks Mat
  3. Lloyd's acknowledged the claim on the 5th March 2007
  4. Have just filesd my claim for 3989.98 on MCOl. I'll send my schedule of charges off in the post om monday. On my way at last. Almost £1800 oif the charges have been after I was paid the £750. Hmmmm

  6. I suppose what I mean is do i have to send another spreadsheet and letter to the bank wioth my revissed claim.. Also I had a payout of £750 against the originnal £2500 claim. I wrote in response that i would only accept this as a partial payment. DO I need to mention this in my claim to the banks? Thanks again for any help Mat
  7. I was just about to complete the form on www.moneyclaim.gov.uk To add these charges onto the same claim, would I just add them onto my spread sheet, at the moment the claim is for December 2002 to December 2006. Can I make the claim for December 2002 to March 2007 or can it only be for six years? If I do add it on do I need to notify the bank before filing my claim? On the claim I was going to state "3. Defendant is aware of all details as a list of charges has already been supplied. Another copy will be sent. " This has been taken from http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/34887-5-money-claim-line.html As this list of charges will have changed what should I do. Thanks for any help, and for reading my thread. Mat
  8. Its now the 23rd of Feb and I have enough money to file with the courts . So off I go with that one. However in the last month an a half I have been charged about £1500 and have had another letter about a futher £120 charges. I understand how this looks but please don't judge me. I phoned the bank on the day thet my direct debitw were about to go out and asked if I paid in cash would this clear in time for them to go through, to which the lady said yes. However it turns out she was wrong. Any way from there my next question would be, should I start another claim or is my luck out on this. My wife is in pieces and I have no idea what I should do now. It seams the bank is trying to push me over the edge an inch at a time. Help Mat
  9. Thanks Barry I have sent that, at least my direct debits will go out this month with the £750. It could be an end to their charging cycle. Mat
  10. Hello everyone Thanks for taking the time to read this. I have today received a letter from lloyds offering me a goodwill gesture of £750. It states that this will be credited to my account in the next few days. The letter states that 'we are making this offer as a gesture of good will because we might face that cost in dealing with your complaint if you took it any futher.' I have two worries. 1) They look like they are paying the money into my account, regardless of my acceptance. Do I need to write to them and tell them it is only going to be accepted as a partial payment. 2) They have passed their 14 days from the 21st of December (Or should I not include Christmas). Do I need to move onto the next stage, or should I write to them regarding their £750. Thanks for any help Matthew
  11. Have just got my reply from the Bank unhappy, they are trying to break me one month at a time. They then go on to state that they can not cancel any charges, but if there is anything they can do to help.... So onward we go. Letter before action will go tomorrow.
  12. Posted the claim for £2259.96 today. Im going to the next stage on the 19th December
  13. Just about to send off my first request for repayment for £2023 plus £236.96. I have a few places where I am missing account balances on dates that interest was charged. I have left these blank and the Interest on penalties has also been blank. I presume this will cause me no problems. Once again this month the bank has hit me with the spiraling charges by charging me a fortune, force me up to my overdraft limit and bounce direct debits. If they would just leave the charges for one month I would be able to sort myself out as I have enough money coming in to cover all my outgoings except for extra charges from the bank. Thanks again for listening. Mat
  14. Just had statements through from Lloyd's. Will enter them into the spreadsheet then let you know. Not bad, just over a month. Mat
  15. Hello everyone, This site is fantastic, buckets of information and people who are happy to answer questions. I have printed my first letter to Lloyds TSB asking for a list of transactions and charges. This will be posted today to. LLOYDS TSB BANK PLC 25 GRESHAM STREET LONDON EC2V 7HN I have found addresses for individuals within Lloyds TSB but have decided that if i send it to the bank it not sit on someone’s pile of mail who has gone away an safari for 10 months. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated, or even just a hello. I will keep you all informed of my progress Cheers for listening Mat
