  1. I know, tell me about it....i was so excited when i got the voicemail. So glad i logged on yesterday for advice otherwise i bet i'd still be waiting. Hails x;)
  2. Sorry for the poor response- i was busy trying to get my final bits ready for today. It was at Keighley court in West Yorkshire BUT At 9.45am this morning i had a missed call and a voice mail from a nice chappy called Paul Quinn asking me to ring him back....Dino was apparently ill yesterday hence the no response. Anyway, I got hold of Paul straight away who just said that Barclays would like to settle in full!!:o He emailed me a offer which i've signed and faxed back (crossing out the cofidentialty clause). I let the court know but just hoping i haven't made a boob coz money is not actually in my account BUT i do have the letter and all correspondence so they can't rip me off!!! Anyway thanks for all the help- couldn't have done it without you all. Will be donating to CAG Hails x

  7. Hi, Been on holiday and got back yesterday to a letter from the local county court stating that the 'directions' will take place on Tuesday 10 July by way of telephone conference. Eeek!!!! Now with it being a telephone conference am really worried about what to say etc. Also it says the defendants legal representative is ordered to arrange it but he hasn't been in contact by letter and no messages on my answer phone- what shall i do about this???? Do i need any paperwork??? Arrgh- could do with more time to prepare. Was hoping i wouldn't go as far as this but it looks like my claim is going alll the way. Please help.....i'm worried Hails x
  8. My Mcol was issued 8/5/07 and they don't appear to have acknowledged it even. The 14 days is up tomorrow. After reading another thread however, it just doesn't seem worthwhile going for judgement by default as it sounds really time consuming. What has everyoneelse done at this stage? Hails
  9. Perfect- just what i need!! Thanks x
  10. Have looked all over for info on how to fill out the MCOL, but ca't find anything:confused: . Is there a link to help me read up on it a bit more??? With regards to the particulars of claim. What should i write in here??? What info should it include..,..i don't what to get this wrong. I'm no good with fancy words. Thanks again Hails x
  11. Trying to fill out my MCOL...Which address do i need to put??? The customer relations address? The main bank address....churchill st, London or the legal and dispute team address?? Thanks Hails x
  12. Hi There, Have received an offer of good will gesture from barclays this last week of £560 (claiming £935.00). So wrote back saying i would accept as part refund only and that i wante the rest. Got a letter today saying the goodwill gesture is the final offer and to take them to court if i want:o . So now guess i'm claiming for charges plus interest and court cost...is that correct. Also with regards to interest...can anyone point me in the direction of idiot proof guide how to do this. Is the interest per charge and per day since you got that charge. Obviously i'll need this info to begin my claim through court and what time span am i looking at now going down that route before getting my money back:-| . P.s i'm not a complete novice- got my charges refunded with HSBC but never got to this stage:eek: :o Am a bit scared! Thanks for any replies Hayley
  13. Thanks for yr help:-)
  14. Hi There, Started my claim with mbna and sent my SAR to which i received a response today and an offer of a goodwil gesture of £360 (without asking). I'm now looking through the statements and i'm not sure which ones i can claim for and was wondering if someone could clarify for me. I know i can claim for 'late fee charge' but how about 1) cash interest charged 2) retail interest charged 3) over limit fee charge 4) Cash advance interest Any help appreciated Thanks Hayley
