hi all after seeing and reading through the forum ive decided to put the wheels in motion. well this is my story ive had my capital 1 card now for approx 2 years with a £400 limit after 2 years of paying £100 here and there plus 7 weeks of £40 and other plans they put me on to clear the charges i am still only £14 in the clear. they have had alot of money out of me and im still nowhere near paying the full balance after 2 years. this week was the final straw for me, i phoned on friday to pay my bill with my debit card and they refused the payment because the debit card isnt in my home address (it's in my mums address and never had problems using it anywere else) i told them it was to late to make the bank and wouldent beable to pay via the bank untill monday, i was told they would make a note of it on my account and it would be ok, today i recieved a letter telling me my payment was late again and charges had been added, i phoned them and after a while on the phone they decided they would knock £6 off the charge leaving me £14 to pay in charges again. with this charge it takes the account back to near enough £400, i have a feeling i will be paying this for the rest of my life lol. i will start by reading the FAQ and other posts before starting out on this venture and will keep you updated on how it goes. thanks caz
