You have your facts a bit wrong which really does show that you haven't read your NAC booklet at all. The booklet says that if you do not know when your car was last serviced then you will need to make sure that it is serviced within 6 months or 6000 miles from date purchased. After this the car can be serviced according to the manufacturers recommendations. Because you have done 8000 miles and haven't had your car serviced you have voided your warranty. It's all very well blaming other people but you had the booklet from day one and had 30 days in which to cancel the warranty if you weren't happy with it. If you spend that much money on a product you make the time to read the booklet to see exactly what you've paid for.8-)
