Hi, I somehow managed to pay off my log book loan last July after they (mobile money) lent me £2000 for a £500 motor. I was basically trapped into loan after loan and don't really know how I survived. Anyway, imagine my surprise when 4 credit reports appeared on my credit file all from loans with them. Dates are wrong as are amounts and even date settled. Of course, they even state it is "unsecured loans" when in fact the loans were secured on the car (it's not my fault they gave me more than cars worth surely?) Can I get them to remove the credit information do you think?

I agree with the OP. It's only a matter of time before these companies get done for mis-selling 120% mortgages. I'm in a similar position. I'm not saying that they should write off the mortgage, but what has been paid in so far is dead money and if you have no way of paying it back, big trouble. Some people thought they were going to use their pensions but they all falling by way side. Black Horse should have made sure there was a strict repayment method in place. I would like to see these interest only mortgages made illegal unless you are buy to let where I can see a reason for them, other than that shouldn't be allowed, especially for 120% mortgages like this.

I have about £700 in charges and interest I would like to re-claim from these lot. But after reading junior's thread and the way it all went wrong I am feeling anxious already. They basically made a defence and stuck with it and junior didn't want to go to court so is in a bit of a mess right now. I'm concerned that some people like me come on this forum and think it's easy, so that's my question. How easy is it? How long does it take? Will I definitely have to go to court to get a refund of all charges?

I won a case against Arrow Global in 2008. I defended the CC claim and they discontinued and awarded costs. But they have just sent a new letter claiming for a new reference number, but the same amount. Can they do this? I thought a dis-continuance was permanent! Could someone please advise my next move?
