  3. Theres been a few issues with this, but now I'm getting peeved. Its advertised as having a "2 years onsite warranty", yet when I ask for a home repair, I get "we do not offer an onsite warranty". What gives? What can I do? Link is here: Hyundai Q321 32" Widescreen DVI 8ms LCD TV HDTV Sky HD Ready Display With Digital DVB-T Tuner Speakers In Black & Silver : nov-q321hd So whats happening? Any help greatly appreciated..
  4. Just done that, Monkey, but unfortunately, she's not in the office today, so message left. Thanks for a prompt reply!
  5. You ain't going to believe this..... DG Solicitors said it would be paid by friday, so I waited (was going to do something daft & spontaneous with the money), and it never turned up all weekend. Phoned First Direct Monday (yesterday) who said they knew nothing about it, I was a little peeved to say the least. They've now decided to pay it in. I'm fuming, I think they are still playing games with me. Should I cancel the settlement, and say sod it, and offer them out on the court, as they seem to be wanting to carry the fight on? I'm prepared to lose what I didn't have- are they?
  6. Thanks. Survey filled and donation made. Plus I'm sending other people your way.....
  7. I shall, if I can find it or the link....
  8. Update as of today- return home, letter from solicitors, full settlement figure. If I want it. Which, of course, I do. So yay! Thanks y'all, it was an absolute breeze thanks to your pointers. When it hits the account, the donation will be on its way.....
  9. No one going to answer this? Or are you all still thinking about it?
  10. Copy of letter going to be sent- tell me if its being daft or not. Be honest, as I'll be sending it tomorrow (or maybe saturday- the wife has plans on it already!
  11. Had an offer from DG Solicitors today, of full amount, plus legal costs, but without the 8%. I am writing back to say a polite Thanks, but no thanks.
  12. Recieved Acknowledgement of service from DG Solicitors today, with the "I intend to defend all of this claim" bit ticked. So- do I wait now, or are they going all the way? Is there an emoticon for chewing nails down to the knuckle?
  13. Moneyclaim online form went in today, case no 6QZ27755. So off we go....
  14. Thanks for the "heads up". I'm twiddling my thumbs waiting now...not long to go.
  15. Recieved answer from Chris Broom, disputing the fact that the charges were illegal. Ah well, I now wait till the 1st May, and away we go again. Moneyclaim time....
