  1. Hi Guys, Wonder if someone could advise. RBS (Halifax Credit Card) agreed to pay my claim. The sum was received and cashed. However, they stated that "They were unable to remove the default notice" from my credit file. Is this the case? As I have cashed the cheque I am assuming there is nothing I can do about it now? Many thanks for your advice, Ron
  2. Hi All, just wondered if anyone had an Update on Court Cases? I have had a Case on hold with Harlow Magistrates Court for what seems lilke ages. Looking to buy a Property soon and seeing as the case is for almost £2000 it would help a LOT. Does anyone know what the current situation is? Many thanks, Ron
  3. Hi Martin, Sept 2006 to Present. Cheers, Ron
  4. Hi All, I am in the process of debating to start Court action against NatWest. Now its quite a lot of money, almost £1000. However, I have been reading up on the Bank's court case and it seems that its now drawn at 2-2. Would I be better waiting till the final outcome or just push ahead now? Many thanks, Ron
  5. Hi All, Just wondered if someone could clarify something. I had a letter from Halifax Visa stating that are willing to pay me the £950'ish that I am owed. I responded saying I accept in principle but I would like the default removed from my Credit File. I heard nothing after the 10th Jan (Expirey) so called them up. They said that they had no problem repaying the money, but were unable to remove the default on my Credit file, all they could do is change it to "settled". Is this correct? many thanks, Ron
  6. Hi Guys, Just a quick one. I contacted Citi Finance and requested a SAR. They have three days left and as yet I have had no response. Has anyone else had the same problem? Should I call them or send another recorded delivery letter saying that I will give them another two weeks? many thanks, Ron
  7. Thanks, So send them the second letter asking where the charges are. Cheers
  8. Hi Guys, I sent the SAR off too Welcome and they responded pretty sharpish. However, I have gone through the stack of paperwork that was sent and not a thing about charges or payments. I received the copies of the Contract etc and every comment that was ever put on the account but nothing in the way of charges encountered. Does this mean I incurred no charges or they just have not sent them? Cheers
  9. Hiya all, Letter & info posted. AQ + info returned to Court. Many thanks all :0) Ron
  10. Many thanks. I have everything ready to go. However, out of curtosiy, I am going to send the Halifax a photo copy of the AQ + a Schedule of charges. Would that be OK or could it cause a problem?
  11. Has anyone told you your amazing ;0) Smooth huh.
  12. Sorry, just curious, First Paragraph reads: The Claimant shall within 14 days of service of this order send to the Defendant and to the Court: a) A schedule setting out each charge repayment of which is sought, showing the date, amount, and reason given (if any) for that charge being made; b) Copies of any statement or other document relied upon as showing that each and every charge has been made; c) A statement of evidence of all matters relied upon as tending to show that the charges are irrecoverable as penalties or otherwise; d) Copies of decided cases and other legal materials to be relied upon. Now am I exempt from this as Halifax have already been supplied with this information? I dont remeber things being this complicated last time :0)
  13. Tills and SSL your both wonderfull. I could see the information but there are one or two contradictions which threw me. Many thanks, Ron
  14. Hi Guys, Sorry but I have really tied myself up in knots here. One part states: You should state here that you believe the case will last no longer than 1 hour. Then another part states that I need more information. and finally states that I need to add all the information I have sent already. Can someone advise? Many thanks as I am confused.com Ron
