  3. Oh my god, I've just read the threads on interest calculation, my head is spinning! I've sent my 1st approach letter on the 18.10.06, no response to date. I'm panicking a bit about the interest calculation! Can someone please give me an idiot's guide to this? Many thanks Amanda
  4. Oh blimey I've sent my 1st approach letter to HSBC, Harry Weston Rd, Binley, Coventry, will that pose a problem? My letter was sent 18.10.06:confused:
  5. Hi Lisa I've not long joined....just sent my claim to HSBC 7 days ago, no reply as yet. I've just entered everything onto the spreadsheet and see what happens!

  7. A newcomer to this, just sent my claim letter to HSBC today 18.10.06, watch this space! Can everyone cross their fingers please! PS : What a fantastic website. HSBC Prelim letter sent 18.10.06 - 1st class recorded - here goes!! 23.10.06 - still no reply!! 01/11/06 - LBA sent 1st class recorded - 'Scaaarrrryyyy!! 11.11.06, still no response due to send MCOL on Wed! MCOL filed 17.11.06 - Ack on 23.11.06 HSBC intended to defend! 28.11.06 - further copy of charges sent to Debs 29.11.06 - letter from Colin Langdale offering partial settlement. 4.12.06 letter to above informing of the recent MCOL claim and not accepting offer. Finally settled 4th January!!!! MBNA S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) 19.10.06 26.10.06 - investigating my claim 15.11.06 - letter offering a sum as a goodwill gesture! 22.11.06 - prem letter accepting partial offer and seeking for full amount

  10. HI Sarah Not sure if you got my last email, I'm new to all this! I'm in the same position as yourself. Following my DPA letter, I've received the bank statements and entered the charges onto a spreadsheet. I'm now in a position to send my initial claim letter, I'm claiming nearly £3000 over the last 6 years, I found that quite sickening when I added them all up! So yes BRING IT ON! My letter will be sent by recorded delivery tomorrow (18.10.06). So cross fingers! Would appreciate if you could let me know how you're getting on and visa versa? Many thanks Amanda (Cardiff)
  11. HI Sarah Just read your thread, I'm in the same position as yourself, just got my bank statements back from HSBC and entered them on a spreadsheet. I'm now in a position to send my initial claim! My total is £2975.85 which I was totally amazed with! Would appreciate if you could let me know your progress reports and visa versa?
