Yeah, I am reading a lot of posts about being too hasty so Ill try and not make the same mistakes! I have a freind who is claiming as we speak so he can advise me on his progress too face to face. And I have another freind who is very well clued up on small claims himself so that should help too

Am I asking for trouble by going this route???

OK, thats what I thought... Ill read up more whilst Im waiting for my previous statements to come through -
Well, my acct has / is 'poorly run' according to the bank. By that, they mean only ever inside my overdraft limit for a few days (after pay day). Its been like this for a while now. But the more I think about it, if I added up all the charges over the last few years, then Id probably be in credit! I have an atuhorised overdraft, which has gradually grown over the years to accomodate my ever increasing debt - in fairness the bank have doen this to try and decrease my charges. However, my spending/ bad acct management has - you guessed it - increased the debt further. I have had my acct frozen once, luckily I was able to sell some shares that I had to clear the acct to within their requirements. Bugger really, cos if Id sold em a few months later Id have doubled my money Anyway - I am constantly charged fees for going over my overdraft limit and then interest on the OD. Am I entitled to claim, even though Ive been mismanaging the acct? Im woriied that if it were to go to court, the court would look at the acct and see the bad running and throw me out with my tail between my legs... I hope this doesnt come across as a stupid post. Please bare with me! Thanks for all your help in advance. FS
