  1. Cheers Filrobbo. I have prepared a moneyclaim court application in case Lloyds decide not to play ball. Let us see them defend £2500 in defaullt charges in one year to a part time working housewife earning £5200 a year to the court.
  2. Yes, when all the claims were stopped by he court process.
  3. Charges started 2005/6 and continued to 20010/11
  4. Hi, I am considering making a Moneyclaim court application on behalf of my partner against Lloyds bank plc for return of unfair bank charges approx 6/7 yrs ago which were refused by the normal process. These charges put her in a spiral of debt which has continued to this day. I need to know who to direct the claim towards at Lloyds bank plc, and whether I should add a claim for mis sold PPI to the claim. Thanks for any help offered, best regards, Tom.
  5. Hi, I have the same prolem. Sold gap on five year finance. Total cost over 5 years has been about £600 which I know see is vastly overpriced. I needed the car badly to start a new job so did not challenge at the time. They tried to sell me PPI which I had heard about and refused, they came back with GAP. I signed to get out of the showroom with the much needed(At that time) car. The dealer went under two years ago (Leaders of Liverpool). Not sure who if anyone took them over. Policy with Black Horse. Finance with Fiat finance Leeds. Any ideas on what I can do?, thanks, Tom.

    LLy*ds bank

Thanks shadow, the banks win again. Actually, as well as changing the interest rate, I today found out that Payp*l have closed our account as we have not used the card for over a year(It was for emergency's only), even though we have never missed a payment. They still want us to continue to pay off the balance. No online access or anything:mad2: Shadow, if we took them to the the small claims court, do you think LL*yds may back down and make an offer rather than show their face and defend the indefensible?.

    LLy*ds bank

Hi all. My wife was over the last few years viciously overcharged by LL*yds bank, sometimes at a rate of £90- £120 per month once the cycle started. She has since had to close her actt as all her p/t wages were beiing eaten up by charges and they were not appreciative of her distress. (The class action stopping was a big blow to us as the claims process stopped dead.) Since then. debt calls have been on a regular basis, and I want to get this stopped and take action. They took £1200 in charges in one year and my wife could not face telling me. Now I want to take action, as the bank statements show LL*yds in a very bad light indeed and I cannot see how they could defend them in any court. I want to start some sort of initial private action to try to get all this harrassment stopped, and her charges (or some of them) returned. The total is about £2400. We will go to court if neccesary. Can anyone please help me start the process so we can begin help to redress the balance of unfairness that is prevalent in todays financial industry. Our credit card(pa*pal) have also just increased our interest rates without telling us. I want to start getting on top of all this, so any help will be graciously recieved. Thanks, Tom.

    Bank charges shock

She was helped to get the statements with all the charges in the Summer which were approx £2250. She sent the first letter but they rejected her claim saying the court process was on hold, she then was hepled to send a letter of hardship(no spreadsheet of accounts provided by her) to which they replied that they were sorry, but until the court process was finalised, they could not help.
  10. Have just found out that my wife(separated) has been getting stung for about £200 a month by her bank, from at least jan/feb 08, and possibly earlier. The total charges over the past year are building up towards £4000. She earns less than £6000 per year part time???. They are charging her £15/20 per day on their own charges which put her in a spiral of debt. She has come to me in desperation. In the summer she was helped to ask for charge statements and recieved them, then she sent a letter asking for the money. The bank said that the claims were on hold or something, and refused her request. They even refused when she was helped to ask for her money back due to financial distress, they just continued to whack her with charges. Looking through her statements just now, she is getting hammered by them. I know you people can advise the best way she goes about things from here. They have taken nearly all her wages in charges over the past year, putting her massively in debt. Can anyone help please, Tom.
  11. Theres just a letter asking for £125, no offence dates, just a reference number.
  12. Hi, just recieved a court fine for exactly what i'm not entirely sure. Was fined at the same court about five or six tears ago for parking on my own pavement with no tax, but thought i had paid that. Is there a time limit for when they can claim court fines, thanks, Tom.
