  2. Hi. I'm about to issue proceedings for £3,500 against First Direct, but has anyone found that the summons should be addressed to HSBC Bank PLC as the defendant instead?, i.e. a company rather than just a trading name? Thanks, Antony.
  3. Many thank for your reply. Yes, I have written to them twice and they disagreeed with my claim. Perhaps I should claim against HSBC Bank PLC t/a First Direct? Re posing in the First Direct forum, I'm not sure how to get to that. Antony.
  4. Hi. Well done so far! I am about to issue proceeding against FD on Tuesday. My question is, who do you list as the Defendant? is it First direct, or HSBC Bank PLC? Thanks, Antony.
  5. Hi. what do you mean accept it/ and then tell them you want the whole amount. If you accept their lower offer, wouldn't that have to be in final settlement? Thanks, Antony.
  6. Hi. I'm about to issue a County Court Summons on Tuesday for my First Direct bank charges of £3,500 including interest! Has anyone had experience with finding out if rather than the Defendant being First Direct, it should be the main company, HSBC Bank PLC, i.e. a company rather than just a trading name? Many thanks, Regards, Antony, London.
