Posted out inital letter 10th August. Recieved reply today.. Standard letter with pretty leaflet..lol saying that they will look into it and respond no later than 4 Weeks...mmm Sorry Halifax you have till 24th August before LBA letter gets sent out.. :p In inital letter I requested charges returned, should I add Interest to each charge ? if so what rate should I use.. Was thinking that since they charge 29.8% interest for unauthorised overdraft, should we be charging the same rate as their deducting charges from my account was unauthorised..lol 8% seems to be the going rate ?? The Address on the letter is Halifax PLC Customer Relations PO Box 548 Leeds LS1 1WU They have also provide tel & Fax number..so might just Fax LBA when its Due.. Will need to find out full address though as Court Papers cannot be served to a PO Box.. Though on the Envelope it has Return Address as Trinity Road Halifax HX1 2RG

Just sent of initial letter to TSB for refund of charges £900 + And one sent to Halifax Bank £500 + Have had a good read of the forum and had to laugh at Janets replies..Well Done ...
