  3. Has anyone else received an email newsletter from USwitch saying that the office of fair trading has told banks and credit card co's to limit their charges to £15. (Although it doesn't say that they've given a limit to how many times!!!) This info is probably available elsewhere. Wonder how it will affect the banks replies.
  4. Going to get a letter sorted to start my claim. As I have kept all my statements for a while I know what my charges have been. Have read in a message in this forum that Barclays have offered 50% of what they have estimated the charges to be, but that their 50% was closer to 90% of the actual charges. Does this mean that people are putting in claims without saying how much they want??? If Barclays are overestimating isn't it better to let them make an offer first before telling them how much we think we are owed. If Barclays overestimate was 90% of the value of my charges think I might be inclined to take the money.
