If you have a legitimate claim under the estate (beneficiary or executor) you are entitled to see/ receive a copy of your mothers medical record under the Access to Health Records Act 1990. Ths has been superceded by the DPA for living persons but still applies to deceased individuals.

I know, i know - more haste, less speed etc!!!!!!!! Here is my text from my particulars... The claimant claims £748.50 for unlawful charges made by HSBC Bank which do not reflect the actual loss for breach of implied terms of the contract with HSBC. The claimant claims interest under section 69 of the County Courts Act 1984 at the rate of 8% a year from 27th September 2000 to 18th May 2006 of £282.92 and also interest at the same rate up to the date of judgment. Reissue?

I'm really worried. I filed with moneyclaim yesterday but did not find the details to enter in the partciulars until this morning. What i wrote was really rubbish - it did not spell out the details of the alleged breach other than to say along the lines of "the claimant claims £X plus interest of £X for the unlawful deduction of bank charges made between Xth September 2000 and 17th May 2006". Will this suffice or should i attempt to do something about it?
