Good point - I lived in England when I open the account. Didn't think of that!

I'm a resident of Northern Ireland currently banking with Abbey does anyone know if the law regarding bank charges is the same here? It looks from the site that the law is Scotland is slightly different, however as the Abbey is registered in England would I be correct in assuming English law applies? Any advice would be appreciated before I start the process.
