  1. If i was you accept but only as part of what they owe and tell them you will be still claiming for the remainder of what they owe. They will give you all what they owe make no mistake about that. For someone who is unemployed £350 is alot to give to the bank. Are you in the habit of giving the bank your money. Claim all your money back, it won't take much longer. gerarddobbin
  2. To Carol Thank-you for all your help, it is most appreciated, Thanks. gerarddobbin
  3. indebt2everyone If i were you i would request evidence from MH to who they are collecting the debt for. If they do not give you any info i personally would stop paying them. Its like giving money to someone you do not know for nothing and achieve nothing at the end of it. Imagine you pay off all this money then another company like MH come collecting for the same debt. Worth thinking about. Make them prove you owe the money otherwise you know my opinion. Good luck and for the future you will be able to call yourself cashflow. gerarddobbin
  4. Chain chick Thanks for your advice. yes gone through all the other stages now need to do MCOL. Amount claiming for is £1400. How do you work out the amount to pay by debit card. If you know what it would be for mine could you let me know. Thanks ever so much, your so kind. People on this site are cool. gerarddobbin
  5. Hi Can anyone tell me how much it cost when going through the MCOL plus i live in Birmingham so what court do i send the money to. I would like to thank you so much for your help. Thank-you Oh is there anything else i should know at this stage. gerarddobbin
  6. hyde2612 I would not even give it the time of day no matter how small it is. Personally i think there is more behind this. Feel a little guilty and ignore. You probably were over charged in the first place by the water company so may not of owed them anything in the first place. Just say that to yourself. MH Chasing £38.00 are they that desperate, don't trust anything they do.
  7. sea-sidelady Hi again, i have also read somewhere on these threads that people like these MH cannot take you to court if they have purchased the debt from someone else. if this is the case i don't know how they can put defaults against your credit.
  8. sea-sidelady No matter what, don't reply to them no matter how tempting it maybe. Just forget about them. gerarddobbin
  9. Mutantx Its really annoying to hear what you are going through and what you are putting up with. If you want my advice i would completely ignore them. Do not reply to any letters or to any phone calls. As for someone coming around to visit you at your home, i think that most unlikely. I have had similar to yourself, threats of visit and letters and so forth. I ignored them and they soon got the message and i heard no more. Sometimes you can hear nothing for a year and then they try again. Just bin them and don't give it a second thought. I know it seems easy said then done but it was for me. Don't let these pharasite get to you okay. Good luck and start to enjoy your life and don't worry about these people. They come in all sorts of disguises. If you ever get a automated message phone call asking you to phone and quote a number they give just put the phone down. Don't even waste your time listening to the message. I would have contacted you earlier but had to wait until i was at work computer as i have not got one. gerarddobbin
  10. Duffers Mum If i were you I would just ignore them and don't give them a second thought. I have heard of no one going to court over not paying MH. I have also not heard of them visiting anyone unless someone on the site can say otherwise. When they send you correspondence bin it and get on with your life. They contacted me and i ignored them and have heard no more. I would not give them the time of day. gerarddobbin
  11. mtm0066 Hi, Patrick Burke who Tommy Maclean is his manager is looking into my claim. can you believe that i have in my possession three signed copies of loans from RBoS which show different amounts of loans over one thousand pounds which i know did not have and another which shows on a bank statement which was used to pay of the bank charges. All these loans are signed between the 2-06-2003 and 6-06-2003. With one of these loans one of there staff members came to my place of work to sign it. If thats not harrassment in getting me to sign for this loan then i don't no what is. Have you ever had anyone come to your place of work or know anyone who has? Have you ever known a bank to give anyone four loans between the times i have shown you above? At the same time as claiming back the interest for the loan that was used to pay off charges which i have proof on a statement i am also asking them to look into the loans issue as fraud could be going on here. On one piece of A4 paper it shows that i had a loan of £3400 and the total amount to pay back is nearly £7000. is that normal for me to pay back nearly £3500 or more in interest. I would expect that from provident but not a bank. I will keep you updated of my progress and what Patrick Burke has to say after he has investigated. Cheers for your reply and good luck with yours. gerarddobbin
  12. To mtm0066 I am in the process of claiming the interest from a loan they used to pay off charges. This RBoS loan was at a very high Apr rate from a department within there organisation after they refused me a loan at there normal rate of interest. They stung me very badly indeed. Tommy Maclean has passed my claim onto someone called Patrick Burke who is going to deal with it because Tommy says he is only dealing with peoples bank charges. I will try and keep you updated. gerarddobbin
  13. If i was you i would personally ignore these people MH and not waste another moment of your time. They will soon get tired and worry that they are spending too much time and money making phone calls and using stamps. Unfortunatley they will move onto the next vunerable person and try there luck. As everyone has said they are a bunch of cowboys trying to return to there childhood to play cowboys and indians. Were the indians and its a war they will not win. Ignore, Ignore, Ignore.
  14. gizmo111 Thank-you for your help and everyone else who replied. I will be watching your case and hope you are successful. Good luck. They only gave me this loan to pay off the charges because i was refused a loan every time in the past. Thats why also the loan is from another section of there bank where the loan is at a very high APR. After they took the charges from my current account they then closed that account, took my cheque book and debit card back and left me only the use of the Royalties Gold account. They left me with only a basic bank card which could only be used to take money out of the hole in the wall. I have e-mailed Tommy Mclean and written to him to give him the chance to return my interest along with £38.00 which they have just charged me over Xmas because of this unwanted loan. This is his e-mail address in case you need it tommy.mclean@rbs.co.uk Another e-mail address i have if you need it is carol.Stickland@rbs.co.uk I got these e-mail addressess from this site. Once again good luck with your claim and i watch with great interest. If you would like to update me personally by e-mail i would be most grateful. My e-mail address is gerarddobbin2000@yahoo.co.uk Cheers gerarddobbin
