Bumma !! I was going to try Co-Op on Monday I'm in the same position with NatWest. They turned me down yesterday. I'll be watching with interest for any answers. I think I may have left it too late to open a "parachute account" I had a Post Office one, but when I went back to work, they told me that only DHSS could pay money into it All I want is somewhere to have my wages paid in, that I can get to, where ever I happen to be in the country. (Truck driver - live in the truck Mon-Fri) The DD/SO etc not that big an issue, but would be handy. I did manage to open a basic account with a Building Society - but my employer's payroll system couldn't handle all the numbers involved with the account detail :?
