  1. Common sense tells me to reluctantly agree on a person to person basis, but the banking industry has been based on lies from its very earliest days. An example of this is how promissory notes and associated monies appear on the balance sheet. So the question I ask is how a person can work for an industry that deals in half truths and actively tells its employees to lie to the customer. This is meant to be a free country, these people do have a certain amount of control over the situation they can leave and get a more honest job. It didn’t take me long to realise this before I left.
  2. I have had several accounts with Halifax for about 20 years. My question is should I send them a S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) for the full history or just 6 years. The reason being is that I don’t really want to go through reams and reams of statements. Thanks in advance.
  3. Just joined and wanted to say what a great site. I am just reading through the FAQ and was wondering about what people thought about giving the bad karma back to the employees of the banks. The reason being is that I understand the call centres are stressful and unpleasant places to work. The average employee ‘burns out’ after 3 to 4 years and moves on. My idea is to give them as much grief as possible in a passive and polite way there by making them want to leave there job and then hopefully cause the banks staffing level problems. I know I cannot do this single headedly but if very body here explained to the robot on the other end of the phone that they are working for morally wrong profiteering industry and the general public see them as one step up from a traffic warden. Is that libellous? Hope not, JMO T.
