i rang in my figures on monday to tax credits, so i decided to ring today to get my actual figures. lady said the paperwork was not done but i am getting an extra payment of... £13.67 and £3.83 now my income was £900 less than originally estimated, so should i not have got a bit more back??? hope someone can advise thank you

i received exactly the same letter from lewis on saturday, it is signed jeff at natwest, this is pasted so i think it is illegal. who do i complain to about this fake letter??

yes i did, because my loans come under a different account number.... i am thinking i might just start again but just apply for interest on the loans as another thread as advised..

hi tiggs 33 just want tocheck, did you get the full amount you wanted when you sent of your managed loan claim?? and who/where did you send your letters?? i had 3 managed loans all taken out due to charges (so i believe) the bank say they weren`t but i tried to claim for the full loan amount.. should i put a claim in for any interest the bank charged on the loans ?? i would need to write to hsbc has i have no paperwork on any of the loans as i stopped banking with them 4 years ago... any help much appreciated

i have moved house so not carried on with this claim, i wanted to claim back the managed loan as without the charges they applied to my account i believe i would not have needed the loan.... they settled my charges claimof £1800 sent the managed loan claim and have had a reply saying they are not responsible and the £1800 was a gesture of good will ((ha !!)) and that it was a final agreement for my banking with them.. should i procede as they have had letter and lba or am i wasting my time and money !!! should i just claim back any interest on the loan?? but i dont have any paper work for the loan as i left hsbc 4 years ago and did not think i would need it again !! any help much appreciated...

just got a standard letter i think from hsbc. i applied for a refund of managed loan interest as i would not have needed the loans if it was not for the bank charges they applied (which they refunded) the letter says they are not responsible and will not offer a refund. it has taken them 3 weeks to reply to prelim letter, but i could not send lba as i have been offline. should i carry on and send a lba?? i heard on my local radio they will say anything to stop you trying to get money from them and to also hold on to any money?? any help apprecited, hasd anyone won regarding managed loans??

still no cheque, just phoned them they have posted it on 16th august and now cancelled it.....:? they are sending a new one today told them it had better be first classs, i also sent a letter to their solicitors yesterday quite a snotty letter giving them 5 days to get my cheque here..... my lba for my managed loan goes out to them tomorrow !!!

they might refuse to give you a cheque if you owe them money in an inactive account... and they dont rush with the cheque`s they got my acceptence letter 13 days ago and i am still waiting as i dont have an hsbc account !

well done, wish mine had been that quick.... are they paying you into your account or by cheque?? i am in a battle to get my cheque !!

tigs33 hope you dont mind me asking the cheque from hsbc you received on 18/8, do you know what date was on any letter that came with it or on the cheque?? as they suppoes to have posted me one on 16th but it still not here !! thanks

i just got my mail to, no letter and still no cheque (coming via snail mail i think) ha ha

i asked hsbc for my credit card statements i just got a letter saying they cant find them because when the card expiry dates pass they erase all the infomation regarding that card.. do you think they are trying to fob me off, i am sure that banks and other organizations keep details for at least 6 years !!! what should i do regarding this.. thanks

still no cheque. have phoned them and they will phone me back, got to give them 4 hours apparently. have wrote a letter to there solicitors to get them to sort this as i am taking further action, they dont want to part with my refund!! think they saying they posted it to shut me up !
