  1. Hi Squeezy Absolutely brilliant!! I am at the sage of getting ready to submit my claim in court. I'm absolutely petrified! I stay in Scotland, so the law is slightly different. Lloyds owe us £4571 - and I am determined to get every penny back. Your story has given me the inspiration to fight on! Well done
  2. Also, as I am in Scotland can I only claim for £750 at a time? My overall claim totals £4571 over 5 years and over 2 accounts. Do I have to claim for each account separately?
  3. I have had no reply to my LBA. I went onto the moneyclaim site to start my claim but it was talking about England and Wales - as I am from Scotland is it different? (by the way I still can't work out how to do the interest - so I am not going to claim that, will that make a difference?) Hope someone can help.
  4. Is it imperative that I charge the interest? I am not too bothered about that?
  5. Hi all Well got the usual bog standard reply after 13 days! But I've not had a chance to look at it again until now. So, I am now ready to send off the Letter Before Action BUT I cannot for the life of me get the 8% interest to work ! I've got my spreadsheet filled up with my charges but cannot work out how to get the 87% added on. Anybody help?? Thanks in advance
  6. A couple of months down the line and this is me ready to hand in the Preliminary Approach letter tomorrow. Let the fight begin!!

  8. Request for charges handed into local branch on Monday 31st July. Opened up another account with Nationwide today (just incase Lloyds close mine!) - I'm ready for them!!
  9. Parachute account opened today - I'm ready !!
  10. Yes, I used the template from the library and included £10.00 - asked the kind lady at reception for a receipt for the letter and the £10.00 - she was away for ages and came back with a standard receipt and said "we'll deal with your request as soon as we can" !!
  11. Well, I've handed in my data request letter ! But I was thinking ! The 40 days they have to reply - is that 40 working days or just 40 days?
  12. Hi everyone I'm a newbie !! - About to start the long fight with Lloyds TSB - I have spent the last couple of days looking through this great site and reading a lot of the threads - they are truly inspiring!! Keep on fighting regardless. I'm sorry but I have a question - when I send my first letter (the Data Protection Act Request for statement charges) Do I send it to my local branch or head office? Many thanks in advance. (And keep up the good work!!) honky113
  13. Hi everyone I'm a newbie and about to start the ball rolling with Lloyds TSB. I'm a bit apprehensive but I've spent the last couple of days looking through the site and reading up on a lot of your threads and have to say that they really inspire me to go for it !! I already have a question (sorry) - when I send off the first letter (the DPAR) do I send it to my local branch or head office? (I'm in Scotland, and reading the threads see that the law is different in Scotland - looks like I am going to have to make 2 0r 3 claims) Thanks for the help - and keep up the good work. honky113
