  1. excellent news... congratulations! sally
  2. Ah well that is where the lovely TSB dropped the proverbial .. my settlement came via their solicitors and having just checked it does not state anywhere that there can be no more claims. Bless their hearts they make it so easy for us:D Thanks for mentioning it tho, I would not have thought to check that.. Sal
  3. I know bless em they have just paid for 5 of us to go to St Lucia next Feb... :) how kind is that! Havn't even given consideration as to what the next lot will pay for but a new bathroom looks good
  4. thanks - I thought so but always best to ask... GOGW hahahahahaha I don't think so! Sal
  5. Quite frankly I am stunned they have made you wait this long before paying out! Our claim was for twice the value of yours and yet they paid out in full before I had time to lodge the papers with our local court ( after MCOL told me it had been moved to Rugby from Northampton) which was a pleasant surprise as it saved me £100! Hold in there they may yet surprise you!! good luck and remain optimistic - they will pay but they are making you sweat Sal Smile (part of co op bank) £2135 - Nov 2006 settled in full Lloydstsb £5145 March 2007 settled in full
  6. Hi As you may or may not already know (depending how many posts you read) I have recently successfully claimed back just short of £5000 from the lovely people at TSB which was for charges Aug 2000 to Aug 2006. Now.. I may be being a wee bit greedy here but can I claim again for charges they added from Aug 2006 up untill settlment in March? I have had a look around the site but there are just soo many posts it got impossible.. They are going to hate me as I have just started a claim for my hubbies acct which is going to total approx £2000 as well. Thanks in advance Sal
  7. I now have a full refund!!! thanks for all your help guys I will donate when I have finished all my claims against them ( having started on my husbands) sal
  8. Hi all Wonder if anyone can help... i'm sure its on here somewhere but I cannot find it for looking ! What is the correct address to put on the moneyclaim? I have put their registered adress in London is this the right one? Do I have to claim interest or will it give the impression that I am running scared to not do? - reason being it is not much money but it would take it over the £5000 and as such into the next payment bracket for the application - another £130 I cant really afford. Thanks Sal
  9. Umm thats interesting that you had replies.... thats where I sent mine too... I will send one last one after xmas for luck and see where it goes from here thanks Sal
  10. Hi all, About a month ago I sent the 2nd letter req charges to TSB in Birmingham, I did not rec a reply and was reading up with the intention of taking court action in the new year. However this morning my 2nd letter came back to me via Royal Mail returns centre ( Belfast) saying no one at that address?? Strange being as that was where they sent my statements from approx 6 wks ago and was on the letter to accomp the statements as the contact address. They did not reply to my 1st req and that letter did not return to sender. Does anyone know the correct address for correspondance or they pulling a fast one on me? Also do I have to send that 2nd letter again to another address or just go straight for court action? Any hekp greatly appreciated as I am not wanting to screw this one up Thanks Sal
  11. Hold tight!, today I received full payment from them for just short of £2000 so I would say you got a fair chance, good luck sal
  12. Result!! £1924.88 received within 5 days of sending the second letter requesting payment, and they are going to clear off the ccj that they put on my file which was entirely made up of charges and interest! Thanks you Smile! When TSB pay up ( near to £5k) I will make a site donation. A very happy Sal
  13. Still no information, and have now partially transferred to Natwest, see how long ittakes them to notice I have gone ... probally Tuesday when the next set of charges should go out!
  14. crikey! I am surprised...never known that happen.. perhaps try speaking to your local branch? As for responsible lender - thats bank talk for your credit rating is not 110% perfect! good luck sal
  15. Yep I have opened a N/W step acc too, one joint and one solo acct. Dead easy and got a solo card ( equivalent to my lloyds electron card). Theey have said that with 6 months of good acct maintenance they will "almost certainly" upgrade to cheque book and a "proper" debit card. So now all I have to do is keep on track with my money and make sure there is no charges! I do have a flex acct as well but as mentioned before only a cash card. These guys dont like to upgrade either- I pay my wages in and only the mortage goes out so there is always a credit balance, never had an item returned in 18 months but they wont upgrade me???? - ok if you cant get anything better I suppose On the subjest of Tesco - you can use your electron in store and at their self scan tills but not to shop on line. That may be where the confusion has arisen
