  1. Parkvale, Thanks for the post. It tells me what I already know though some of it is well phrased. In my case, it is definitely retaliation - I have the letter. The problem with that sort of post is a bank's lawyer (and the judge) will treat is as if it were waffle. What we need is an umabiguous list of case histories to cite. The list of retaliation cases settled by the OFT will do, but better are the court cases. Why on earth does the consumer action group not compile these? With kind regards.
  2. Yorkshire Building Society have just done this to me. Has anyone got a quote from the banking code that prevents them from doing this?8)
  3. Could the moderator start a thread / category for these like they have done for other banks? My small claim with them took 12 months is this a record The case ended with the Primary sum (£645) paid in full + £689 costs Unfortunately they are going to close the account:mad:
  4. Is there anyone out there who can produce a written proof of whether you can chop a large claim into several chunks using the Scottish Small Claims procedure? The format should be similar to the example statements of claim and Mike Daily's statement on Jurisdiction. That would settle this issue once and for all letting us get on with suing the b***s.
