Please could someone help me, I've had a look through other comments/emails on the forum, but am still unsure. I worked out that HSBC owed me over £4k in charges, and sent them a letter asking for this amount to be refunded. I've just had a letter today(1 week later) asking for a breakdown of the charges!! When I wrote the letter the explained that the charges were for overdraft fees and other Charges(bounced cheques, returned DDs etc). Is the bank trying to buy time or are they following some kind of procedure?? Please HELP!!!
