  2. Hi all, great info to be found through this site and such great encouragement, but i have bit of a dilemma and need advice on which way to go next. the crux of my claim is that i have just received a letter from solicitors acting for NW asking for £1000 + which is a great figure from the original which was £3000+ and they have stated £2000+ of a deiscount and i have 21 days to decide which way to turn as they want the money as a full and final settlement. I am not in the position to pay this though. Also i have written to the NW and they are aware that i am about to claim through MCOL for £2000 + in unfair charges. Should i follow through with my claim for £2000+ or contact their solicitor to see if i could get an agreement that they wipe the slate clean and in return i abandon my claim? Or am i giving in too easy and letting not only myself but others down? I value your replies, thanks and good luck to all. Alan
