  3. I received a letter in the post this morning saying... "We refer to the default judgement you have recently obtained against our client. The claim form did not come to our clients attention and we would ordinarily be instructed to apply to set aside the judgement. GIven the amount involved, however, and with no admission of liability whatsoever our client is prepared to settle the judgement for purely commercial reasons. Your account has been credited with the sum due. Please sign and return the enclosed form to us in order that we may apply to the Court for a Certificate of Satisfaction. We enclose a stamped addressed envelope for your convenience. Yours Faithfully... Ive just checked online and the money is there! Will sort a donation out soon!

  9. Dont hold your breath on judgement. I didnt get a response to the initial claim and filed for judgement last Tuesday. Still not heard anything.
  10. I havent heard anything - didnt even get the offer. Lisa - if theyve previously offered the full amount then dont think they have a leg to stand on do they? You obviously accepted their offer. I wouldnt be too concerned. Ive had nothing at all from them and have filed for judgement.
  11. I got offered a paltry amount ignored it and filed for MCOL. Heard nothing from them at all within 14 days so now filed for judgement. Filed last Tuesday - not heard anything from them yet. Beginning to get a bit disillusioned now.
  12. Im sure we will get the money soon - well we better!!!! Just hope the money coincides with a La Senza sale! At least you can get more for my money!!

  18. You and me both! Just working out the added interest!!! How much are you claiming?
  19. Im waiting for the Post to come before filing for judgement! Will probably phone the court and also look on MCOL. If I get the full amount then this winning by default thing is quite easy.
  20. Only because you want your shopping trip!!! I will wait until after the Post has arrived before calling.
  21. Thanks Magic. The only contact Ive had so far was just after filing my claim was a letter off Northampton County Court saying they had until August 27th to reply. Ive had nothing. I will give them until tomorrow before doing something. Any thoughts apart from Bailiffs - I just want a cheque!!
  22. Help please. (well more!) My MCOL is now up and Ive heard absolutely nothing from HSBC since it was issued. What do I do now? Ive just been on MCOL and I cant do anything on there - says Im not allowed to when I try and indicate that they havent replied or done anything. I hope Im close to the cash but Im not sure!
  23. The date that comes up to win by default is this Monday. It was issued then but wasnt acknowledged for a bit longer hence the delay.
  24. If I havent heard anything by Monday Im going to need all the help, knowledge and experience from other posters to get me over the line!
  25. MCOL was filed in August on 8/8 according to MCOL website. Just a case of waiting and seeing but time is ticking...
