  1. You do have to pay the court, and the fee varies, depending on how much you are claiming for. My real advice would be to read through the forums on this site before claiming anything, and take it all in. That is the most important thing. My sis inlaw is claiming back nearly 4 grand from natwest, and when she filled out her court claim she forgot to fill it out corectly, she also cocked up dates on some of her corrispondance, and she claimed for a period of more than 6 years by accident!!!! I have only noticed now as she has asked for my help after some very weired letters from cobbetts and the court. hopefuly i has resolved this now...... but the point im making is to be 100% sure and fully informed on what you are doing! because if you fly in half hearted and willy nilly it could all back fire on you.
  2. Thanks for that im useless and dunno how to do that yet lol. must be getting old
  3. Take a look at the thread at the top of the natwest page
  4. i had exactly the same problem along with 2 work colleges. we all took out a dolphin 35 contract with unlimited text and 550 mins. the first bill was completely wrong, they said they would recalculate but it never happened and the following month was even worse! orange have a uk and a forien cusomers service office. the uk office sorted my problem straight away and that was the end. they even gave me a bit extra for my trouble. i found the forien operator was not atall intrested in my problem and they shrugged me off, in quite a rude manner. but explain and it will be resolved. not sure about ending your contract though, i would see out the good deal if it was the same as i had!
  5. they need credit card info i thought..... and i dont have one
  6. i got my code in the post within 2 days, and the info is fantastic. it also gives you an option to pay for your credit score as well. i think it was about £3.77, so i payed for it and thats all thats needed now. it tells you everything you owe, late payments, all your lenders/ bank accounts, wether your regestered on the elect roll, any prviouse addresses and a credit application history. i think thats it..... a lot of info for nothing. the thing i payed for , the credit score.. rated me out of 1000, and was also useful. although ive had a few problems with credit lately and it says i have an excellent credit score. i may check with equifax any way to see if the info matches up.
  7. hi all ive got a 2 accounts with hsbc but im gona claim one at a time. i checked my statements online and sent the first letter asking for these back.im claiming £378.39 on my smaller account . roll on 14 days. my only concern is that i have a managed loan with hsbc for 23 grand, if they closed my account and ask for payment i would have no option but to go bankrupt! how likley is this?? thanks
  8. so did you get an offer 14 days after sending the letter askin for your charges back??
  9. ive got a managed loan for about £23 grand, i didnt have a clue what the loan was all i knew was it was my last resort before bankrupsy, ive had a £30 charge already on it for insuficiant funds to pay the s/o. hsbc knows how much finacial trouble im in.... ive got no property, no assets just £23000 hanging over my head. Why shouldnt i go bankrupt?? my other worry was that if i claimed back my ilegal charges, would they close my account and say pay up for the loan? im in a right state really with my money, im going through divorce, paying maintanence, trying to look after myself to and tryin to pay off my debts and theres not enough to live on. ohh well theres my sob story i really dont know where to start with working out whats going on with my managed loan..... any advice? maybe bankrupcy is a good option for me?
