Thanks for that, how do they make money though? What powers do they have here as a company who do not own the debt? They can’t actually issue CCJ etc can they?

The bank does not have the address in writing no, just by email.

Thank you for the comment. I have it in writing as in email track and they have the right details. My main concern is IDRW, can they get a court order or issue CCJ’s etc? I understand they are acting as an agent and don’t own the loan.

Hi there, I have read many threads on here but just need some clarification on what to do next. Had a credit card in DUBAI, and have read that people have had contact from International Debt Recovery here in the UK. I moved back here just before covid and only recently have IDR started writing letters to my house. They have sent a fair few but I have not replied. The debt is about £60k. I know many others have had contact since 2020 but wanted to ask what happened since? Did they take action as they threaten to? Have you guys still ignored them and they still contact? I have tried contacting the bank for repayments but they never reply or talk, which I find strange. Has IDR had a successful claim here in the UK from a Dubai debt? I'm just concerned as I want this resolved but the right and best way. Should I even contact IDRW? Any help is appreciated. Kind regards Myself
