This morning my clutch went on my car, gonna cost over a grand to fix, doesn’t seem reasonable to do it on a car with such high mileage (180k miles 110 of which I’ve done since taking out the finance 3 years ago). Also have a fog light surround broken, hit a pheasant a week or so ago on the way to work, easy fix by myself for 30 or so quid.
My question is,
having paid over 50% of my total amount payable, if I VT will I be legally responsible for sorting the clutch and any bumps and scrapes on the car?
There’s a couple, no major damage.
I don’t mind fighting MB if need be but I’d rather not fight a losing battle.
Thanks in advance.
Edit: car is on HP if that helps, all I’ve found online so far seems to apply to PCP if I’m reading it correctly
