Update 20/3/23 just received a “final notice” saying their client would take me to court if I didn’t pay by 14/3/23. It’s starting that the client will extend the time I need to pay by and can still pay in instalments and this offer will be available until the 28/3/23. again I’m ignoring all of this, just keeping whomever is following this thread updated

Update 9th feb ( only received this on the 17th feb) debt recovery plus final chance to pay , recommend their client to appoint a solicitor. im still ignoring just wanted to keep you in the loop

Debt recovery plus sent the letter

Good day. 26/1/23 I received a notice of intended court action for the unpaid parking charge which has now risen to £170.00. It’s saying I now need to pay this before 9/02/23 to avoid possible court action

Good day. Today 11/01/23 I received a letter from debt recovery plus regarding the charges 11/09/22. Asking to pay the amount of £170.00 straight away. If I don’t they will recommend their client to take court action against me. I shall ignore this letter, just keeping you guys in the loop thank you

So today received my “ final notice letter” from UKCPS. I’ve been sent this final notice letter for the parking charge. payment of £130 is now required within 14 days. this is just a head up to keep you all in the loop. I shall ignore like the others.

Independent Appeals Service. just had a response which says it is favour of the fine. I’m also ignoring this

So just read an email saying I had to respond to the independent body by the 12 October “ missed that deadline” but I’d have ignored that also right. Waiting for that letter of claim

1 last thought , as and when debt collects start the letters , it in no way affects my credit rating , I won’t be black listed? Can’t see anything in any other threads ( thank you all in advance)

Ok so I see other people with similar complaints but I’ve not seen 1 that’s gone all the way as in “ I’m no longer receiving threatening letters”

Hi , I’ve recently been “charged” by UKCPS for stopping here on 21/9/22. The truth of the matter is that I was dropping my wife off at Piccadilly and I don’t know Manchester so was following the sat nav. It took me to behind piccadilly station so essentially a dead end. I stopped the car , checked the maps on the sat nav to see where I should be going and then set off again. I was just lost and needed to see which way to go. I was there only a matter of minutes, no one got out of the vehicle. I received this “charge” and appealed as I thought surely it’s a mistake. The appeal was rejected so I did the option of appealing with IAS ( independent right) and I’m still waiting on their response. I’ve seen the images of me “ parking” and there can’t be 2 minutes between the 2 photos. I’ve only recently found this site and you all say don’t reply well I’m sorry I’ve responded once to them and once to the IAS, so there’s nothing more I can do about that. I shall ignore anything else that comes through. any and all advice welcome. 1.Date of infringement. 11/09/2022 2. Date on NTK. 21/09/2022 3.
