I had a letter from Family Money Savers a few weeks ago to say that I owe them money for a successful claim from Argos.
I couldn't remember having any money from Argos so I called FMS and it was almost a grand. They said I should call Argos to verify because Argos would not give them any information as to how the payment was made.
I have done this and still waiting for Argos to come back to me but did my own search and there was a payment but it was in 2018!!!
when I spoke to Argos they told me that the FMS claim was void but that they then made a payment to me at a later date.
FMS are demanding nearly £300 and I am going to struggle to pay that much.
I have managed to delay things until I hear back from Argos but surely they should have billed me when the payment was made if they really were responsible for it.
