How do all? I admit it... I failed my mortgage commitments more than a few times. We've been to court several times. I didn't pay, they didn't like it. But liberties have been taken with excessive charges. I'm wondering if it is best to use a local lawyer firm, use a claim company or navigate a county court claim myself. We are now in a wonderful position of being able to payoff the mortgage balance but I'm loathed to give them over £20K in charges over the original loan amount, from the past 10 years. Can anybody comment that has been through a similar mortgage arrears, potential mis-selling situation with Redstone Melanite Mortgages? Thank you, DC
