  1. Final update Leading up to the trial date (17th June) I heard from EVRi on the 6th, 7th and 8th June, where they offered me part of the claim so I kept declining stating I wouldn't accept anything less than the full amount. No word from them until the 16th, they offered me the full amount and we settled. Today I finally received my money. The entire claim amount, as well as mediation and court fees Thank you so much for all the help and support.
  2. I have submitted my court bundle to the court and EVRi, but haven't received theirs. The deadline is 2pm today. Court date is 17th June 2022.
  3. They said that they’re doing loads of cases back to back to get through as many as possible, so they’re seeing people much earlier then they normally would. Court Date.pdf
  4. Will do thank you. Yes, has to be in by 25th April. Please can you post up a copy of the order in PDF format
  5. Courts going ahead on 17th of June, but will be remote via teams. I haven’t heard anything from EVRi themselves yet. I had a look through their defence the other day, and noticed that they said I valued the parcel at £200 which is wrong, I don’t think the lovely Chloe checked what she was defending them against this time. Not that this was brought up during mediation but I’m sure they’d try to use it against me in court
  6. Nothing overly exciting to update with. Just wanted to let you know I received a letter saying that the claim is going to court, but no date as of yet. Also not heard anything from Hermes, no hush moneys been offered yet
  7. I've never been to court, this is going to be a fun experience. But I am determined to see this the whole way through
  8. The Hermes woman, this time it's Judy Cobbet, well that's who signed the claim forms anyway
  9. Hermes are going to look into my claim that I have a message from them stating they can't locate my parcel, as she apparently doesn't know this, and as far as she is concerned it has been delivered to the address, which is why they won't pay more
  10. It's going to court, they don't agree and we're too far apart to come to an agreement. In their eyes its been delivered to the address it was sent to, even though I have the messaged from them and the couriers asking where it was delivered to so they could pick it up, and then another one saying its been lost. The list of items is a commercial agreement - more trouble to deliver than what is worth
  11. So they're now offering me £226.70, which includes the £20 compensation, £6.70 postage (they've already paid me this even though I didn't accept it, but I did deduct it from the claim), £100 as a good will gesture, and £100 to cover the cost of mediation and interest plus a bit extra. They are confident that if this did go to court then the judge would accept that in their terms and conditions it does say they don't cover laptops. I asked her to ask them why the prohibited items list exists, she reckons for "insurance" purposes but will ask anyway.
