You asked "What method of enforcement have you used? Are you using county court bailiffs or have you had the matter transferred up to the High Court for enforcement by High Court enforcement officers? Can you remind me – this judgement is for more than £600 – yes? " yes its just over £4000 with costs etc I have asked for the court bailiffs I wasnt aware I can go to the High Court for enforcement by High Court enforcement officers, do I need to change to the High Court enforcement officers then ?

Hi Everyone just an update Well he hasnt paid up so I have now asked for a warrant to get him to pay, I have no idea how long that will take for them to go after him does anyone know please? I am hopeful they will get him to pay but I have a funny feeling he will have a way out of paying as it still seems strange that he said "I am not going to pay take me to court" he must have know he would lose and then would be ordered to pay anyway but lets hope he does pay up once they get involved chasing him.

The way I found him was I found he had sold a recliner and a settee on facebook marketplace in december and it came up with a post code for that sale when I check that on google maps I found the street then went for drive hoping to see his van but didnt but there was a house was being done up and right outside was a trailer that looked just like the one he used, so when we got home we put the number and street into Zoopla and it was sold in December so I then paid £3 to land reg site for that address and bobs your uncle I found him. heavens knows how we would have done that with out the internet lol Thanks everyone for the help I have been given so far

OK update everyone, I have now been able to request judgment and I also did find out that he did indeed buy a house in December, so I now have another address for him, and also the judgment paper work allows me to send the judgment to that address so I know he will receive it which makes me happy, lets hope he just pays out now.

Hi Everyone, just an update the papers were sent from the court and he had until today to respond, well today a letter from the court came through my door which had a letter saying that he or someone has sent the paper work back saying he hasnt lived there since December 2020, I dont believe that for a moment as you know someone has signed for two of the 3 of my letters addressed to him this year (the last one being refused to sign for), but the letter from the court did say the paper work still stands as if he has had it unless I know of another address for him, so how can I check if he is at that address other then wait outside and watch him going in there, but even that wont prove he lives there as he might be just visiting his kids which i believe he has got looking at his face book pages. So can anyone help please with tracking him down, and should I go ahead and press for judgement anyway because it will still be done even if he isnt living there am I correct?

Hi All Just a update his 14 days are up and I have sent in my claim in online this earier this morning, but the post man has just come and delivered a letter from the post office saying the letter was refused to be signed for, so I am wondering if that affects anything as he has not read my "letter refore court claim" ? so he must have be aware of reason for the 3rd letter, other wise he/she would have just signed for it wouldnt they ? does him not signing help him at all or affect my claim do you think ? The letter was attempted to be delivered and was refused to be signed for on the 1/5/21 and its taken the post office 14 days to get it back to me that is a bit bad i think ?, I do have proof of the first 2 letters sent to him.

Hi Everyone I just got to the summary page of the claim on the MCOL site and its asking for my signature for the Statement of Truth and there is a space for one (see attached) that I can type in but once I save its gone, so how do I do that part as it wont let me go to the next page until I sign it, there is no help that I can see? on the page, it is an online form isnt it ? or am I on the wrong site MCOL - Money Claim Online - Submit Claim.pdf

Hi all again thanks for that info, so I think I have worked out the figure if someone could check it out please? and also check the pdf attached of the form so far £3700x 0.08 = 296 296/365 = 0.69p Final payment to him 13th Nov 2020. Date of final letter sent to him was 30/04/21 so 14 days = 14/04/21 so the court form will be sent off on the 15/05/21 so the 30/04/21 to 15/05/21 = 166 days x 0.69 = £114.5, is this correct please? I wasnt sure about "step 5, including the daily rate of interest. You need to add this amount of interest to the total claim amount and enter it in the box for ‘amount claimed’ " as there isnt a part 5 in the online form so I assume i have done it correct ? or has the £114.5 to be added to the total amount at the bottom please ie £3,885.00 + £114.5 ?
