Hi Guys, I need some advise. I've sent a CCA request to Moorcroft Debt Recovery Limited which collecting money on behalf of HSBC for a credit card and in a letter they've stated that I need to contact our client directly. That is the address they've provided: Metro Collection Services 56 St James Road Edgbaston Birmingham B15 1 JL. Can someone confirm is that the right procedure? If anyone also send CCA requests to HSBC and is this the right address? Thanks for your help Ecik

Just phoned them again. They do not have a bank accounts for me to set up direct debit or standing order. They offer to send statement over the post but with £5 charge every month. They don't send statements through emails. And again they're insisting that making payments is only available over the phone. I do not have copy of the agreement with paypal credit.

How can I force them to provide bank details? They insisting that the payments over the phone is the only way. So far I was using same phone number and payments went through. They even send a confirmation email about the payment. And I don't get any kind of statements. Only on my paypal account which is now blocked.

They don't want to provide any bank details so I do payments over the phone. But until now I could at least check my balance and charges before I made a payment.

Hi Guys. Paypal blocked my main account due to not clearing my negative balance. I can't acces my paypal credit account so I'm not able to see my balance, charges etc. Do you know if that's legal? Any help would be much appreciated

Sorry, What's the difference between paypal uk and just paypal negative balance. Did you mean paypal credit?

One of the paragraph states: Regulatory Authorisation PayPal is regulated by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) in Luxembourg with authorisation number 23/07. The CSSF is the authority responsible for the prudential supervision of companies in the financial sector in Luxembourg. In addition to CSSF regulation, from January 1, 2021 PayPal will be deemed to be authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. The nature and extent of consumer protections may differ from those for firms based in the UK. Details of the Temporary Permissions Regime, which allows EEA-based firms to operate in the UK for a limited period while seeking full authorisation, are available on the Financial Conduct Authority’s website. I have a negative balance with them but I was ignoring it since Sep 2020 because it wasn't my fault and I took advise from this forum to ignore their demands. As not english person I'm finding it really difficult to deal with all this. . I'm not even sure what SAR is and where to send it. When I asked lloyds to start investigation about irresponsible lending (all done over the phone nearly 4 weeks ago) they've gave me ref number but didn't hear anything back. They've sent me a letter about overdraft that it has all fees and interest stopped and default will go on this account for 6 years and that the collection department will contact me. How can I start an investigation about irresponsible landing the right way? Please advise and thank you

I requested to Lloyds to check if increase of my overdraft was done correctly as I had already bad credit score and if they checked my affordability then. There's a investigation going on. I've requested that over the phone when I informed them that I'm no longer able to pay overdraft fees. Do you think that should be done in writing? I. got ref number for the investigation but that's all. Please advise

Just got the letter today stating that they defaulted this account and collection depart. will contact soon to arrange repayments. I guess I just need to wait to see what they will come up with. But before any of that I should write to all creditors to inform them that I will stop paying them? Due to my bad financial situation? I know I'm asking a lot but appreciate your help Sir. E.

Credit card was used maybe in 2014 last. then i was only repaying min. payments till 2016 but this was killing me and I had to stop. On credit reports shows both credit card and overdraft as HSBC accounts. So if account is defaulted in 2016 would it disappear from credit file after 6 years or will stay there until is paid off? I really thank you for your time. E.

Hsbc credit card 2007 Overdraft was set online and can't get the dates but around 2010
